THANK YOU We have received a letter of thanks from Eileen Lakes Godson, Chris,
expressing his grateful thanks with the following message: Eileens day to day family was the
Church community and she was very grateful, as were we, for the support and love that it gave
her over half a century. She, for her part, tried to contribute as much as possible to that
community. It was a cause of great comfort to her that she received the last Rites, and also the
knowledge that Mgr Sen, who she had known for years, was able to conduct her Funeral Mass.
We thought he encompassed skillfully her life and qualities in his homily. We wish to convey our
grateful thanks to the community.
THANKS Luca Bottesi, who recently held a Cake Sale at Our Lady of Peace to raise funds for
an expedition to Morocco to help build a dam in a small deprived village, will say a few words of
thanks for your support after the 9.45am on Sunday, 12th April.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY ON 12th April at the Polish Church of Divine Mercy, 48 Pitts Road,
Slough, SL1 3XH at 1.30 pm. Celebrating the Year of Consecrated Life with Penitential
Procession, Holy Mass and Hour of Mercy and Adoration followed by veneration of the Relic's of

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASSES The next session is on Saturday, 18th
April from 9.30am 11.00am at OUR LADY OF PEACE CHURCH. First
Holy Communion gifts will be on sale after the class. Please continue to
pray for our children so that they will grow in their appreciation of the
sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion.
CAFOD Day of Reflection on Saturday, 18th April, 10.30am2.30pm at Sacred Heart Parish
Centre, 5 Beaudesert, Leighton Buzzard LU7 1HZ. Brian Purfield (Mt Street Jesuit Centre) will

CONFIRMATION PROGRAM The fourth Session will be on Tuesday, 21st
April from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and will be held in ST ANDREWS. The
Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Peter this year on
Tuesday, 23rd June at 7.30pm in Our Lady of Peace.
ST VINCENT DE PAUL AND THE CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE invite you to a celebration
of Holy Mass with the sacramental anointing of the sick at St Andrews on Saturday, 25th April at
2.00pm. This will be followed by a tea party. Transport can be arranged, if required please
