Prologue: The Drop How to Keep Up with Erin

A step-by-step walkthrough to unlocking The Drop trophy and achievement.

Objective 1: Reach the Drop Location

When you gain control of Garret, immediately loot the room. Dont worry about waking up the drunk on the
bed. Hes down for the count. Approach the lit can-dles in the room and interact with them. This will put
the flames out, an im-portant skill that you will need throughout the game. Go through the room, making
sure you snatch up anything that glimmers. When youre done, exit through the window.
Walk across the beam and pry open the window to enter the attic. Stay crouched in this area. Birds will
give away your position if you make too much noise. Go through the curtains, avoiding the cages to the
painting at the other side of the room. Feel for the switch, pressing it to reveal the safe. Pick the safe and
claim Unique Loot (1/9) The Glittering Plumage. Exit out the window to your left and move to the
right. Snatch the Rope Arrow from the box and fire it at the anchor beam above you. Climb the rope and
jump to the platform to meet Erin.
When the meeting is over, follow Erin until you slide down a slanted roof, ending the chase.
Objective 2: Remain Silent and Out of Sight
Follow Erin until she climbs the wall and takes off. You need to cross the street, but dont miss out on the
loot laying around. Theres one piece by the cart not far from the two pedestrians, one piece close to the
fence and one more on the barrel by the ladder. Climb the ladder once youve collected them all. Climb up
to Erin and duck under the pipe. Follow her forward, taking a right and moving across a beam. Use
your Blackjack to lower the ladder before climbing up.
Follow your objective through the open window and loot the room thoroughly, being sure to check all
cabinets and drawers. Pick the lock to enter the bed-room, again making sure to steal everything that you
can. Make sure to snag the Voyeurs Diaryfrom the desk; its the only Document in the Prologue. When
youre done, exit through the window.
Cross the beam to your left and pry open the window on the other side. Plunder this entire room, making
sure to locate the loose brick on the wall. Press it to uncover a secret compartment in the wall. Grab the
valuables and head upstairs.
Objective 3: Move Through the Gardens
Stay crouched and follow Erin, keeping an eye out for a wineglass on the ground. Walk up behind the
whistling guard and pick his pocket. Move through the door and vault the railing in front of you. Head
straight across the water toward your objective. Move very slowly so that you arent heard. Head to the
east and grab the Water Arrow from the box. Use it to extinguish the flame mounted on the east wall.
Move north through the shadows, being careful not to make too much noise. Grab the ashtray and head
up the stairs.
When Erin takes out the guard, move behind the second guard and do the same. Throw his body in the
shadows for good measure. Theres nothing to collect in this area, so pick the locked door and move on.
Objective 4: Meet Erin on the Roof
Sneak up behind the guard and knock him out. If you prefer the non-violent route, toss a bottle to distract
him and sneak past. Theres some loot on the ground in front of him, so be sure to grab it. Climb up the

crate and onto the beam. Follow it east and climb on the scaffolding. Jump to the rope, ascending to the
roof where you will meet up with Erin again.
Objective 5: Steal Erins Claw
This is perhaps the easiest objective in the game. Walk about five feet until Erin stops and steal
the Claw from her. Doing this will end the Prologue: The Drop. Completing this mission will unlock The
Drop, either a trophy or achievement, depending on what platform you play the game on.

Chapter 1: Lockdown How to Find the Combination to the Jewelers Safe

How to find all four collectible loot items and complete all Thieving challenges.

Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 125 G
Extinguish 9 Flames 100 G
Headshot 4 Threats 75 G
Lift All Loot Items 150 G

Objective 1: Head to the Clock Tower

Although you can hear them, The Watch cant reach you, so take your time. If youre having a difficult time
spotting things, use your Focus ability to highlight areas of interest. Aside from the loot, notice the
cabinet? You can use cabinets to hide from guards, though their real value is saving the game. Anytime
you enter one, you will automatically save your progress. When youre ready to move on, use the Claw to
reach the ladder on the north wall and climb up.
Climb up another wall to the north and drop down to a lower roof. There are two guards patrolling the
street. Drop down into the alcove to the south and wait for the roaming guard to pass. Sneak behind,
knock him out and steal his loot. Head to the house on the north side of the street. Although there isnt
collectible loot in here, make sure to grab it all before heading out. Go right from the house, wait for the
guard to turn his back and take him down. Be sure to snag Serendi Stone Circles (1/7) Amethyst
Circle from the southwest corner.
The area is safe now. Move east down the street and turn north into the alley. Climb over the boxes and
sneak up behind the guy inspecting the dead body. Pick his pocket and move on, or knock him out. Grab
the three Broadhead Ar-rows from the table and climb the wall to the north. Hop down, search for loot and
pick the locked gate to enter Stonecutters Court.
Objective 2: Find a Way into the Jewelers Shop
There are four ways into the Jewelers Shop. You could take the front door, but a guard patrols just on the
other side. Instead, drop down from your perch and turn around. Head into the alley to the east where you
can snag some loot, in-cluding two Broadhead Arrows sitting atop a crate. From here, you can either
cross the street at ground level, or you can head toward the south end of the alley and take a tunnel.
Although there is loot to be had at ground level, we took the tunnel, emerging on the north side of the
street, behind the Jewelers Shop.
Once behind the Jewelers Shop, pick the lock to the cellar door. Be careful not to make any mistakes, or
the jeweler will hear you.
Objective 3: Steal the Jeweled Mask
Once inside, sneak up behind him and knock the jeweler out. Youre safe here as long as you dont make
too much noise. Steal everything in sight, especially Lyegroves Letter from the desk. When the room is
picked clean, approach the painting in the southwest corner. Feel for the trigger and press it. This lock
cant be picked, but the combination is in the letter you just picked up. To save time, the combination is 7,
3, 9. Open the safe and grab Unique Loot (2/9) Lyegroves Jeweled Mask.
Objective 4: Exit by the Upstairs Window
There are two more collectible loot items on the main floor. Head upstairs and head to the left where a
lone guard patrols the main store. He moves around the room, so wait for him to head south before
sneaking up behind him for the take down. Theres a lot of great loot here, so be sure to check every
desk, drawer and surface. Just to the north of the front door, while youre facing east, you can find Client
Loot (1/8) Jeweled Mask.

When the room is clear, move to the northwest room where theres another guard sleeping on the job. Its
cruel, but knock him out so hes not an issue later on. Behind where the guard was catching some sleep,
pick the lock to access the safe. Inside youll find The Mortal Coils (1/6) Sootback Bracelet. Thats all
the collectible loot in this chapter (excluding documents), so head upstairs when youve picked everything
over.
Theres another sleeping guard on the buildings top floor. Knock him out, leaving you and the Jewelers
wife. As soon as the guard is down, sneak up behind her and go for the knock out. The house is now
clear of threats. Thoroughly search the upstairs for any and all loot before exiting through the open
window to the north.
Objective 5: Continue to the Clock Tower
Grab the newspaper as soon as you drop from the window. Move down the street and pry the window
open to climb inside. Move through the house and exit to the back alley. There are two guards, but if you
crouch, you an swoop past them to the west without getting caught. Follow the next guard through the
winding alley, ducking into the shadows while a woman yells out of her window. When the conversation is
over, follow the two guards, climbing up the pipe when you can. Follow the walkway north until you reach
your objective, ending Chapter 1: Lockdown.
By completing this chapter, players will unlock the Lockdown trophy or achievement, depending on what
platform you play the game on.

Chapter 2: Dust to Dust How to Open the Generals Strongbox

We show you how to beat the chapter and find all five pieces of collectible loot.

Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 250 G
Pick 10 Pockets 200 G

10 Combat Takedowns 175 G

Lift All Loot Items 250 G
Before you begin this chapter, its highly advised that you spend some time get-ting to know The City.
There are numerous districts, each with dozens of houses and apartments to loot. Doing this will allow
you to earn gold, which you can then spend on Focus abilities, tools and weapons. To get this mission,
visit Basso at The Crippled Burrick. When youre done, head to the Shady Merchant just outside the pub
doors (hes indicated on your map as well). Aside from the wrench tool, its never a bad idea to stock up
on all the various arrow types that are available.
Objective 1: Find a Way into the Foundry
Theres some common loot in the main part of the yard as you start the chapter. Feel free to go after it, but
we decided on a more subtle approach. Jump to the rope and descend to the walkway below. Cross
under the bridge and use the wrench tool to unscrew the vent. Follow it to the other side where you will
emerge in the Dust Yard.
Theres nobody here, so you can walk around without fear. Snag the poppy from the ground and Climb on
the crane in the middle of the yard. Jump to the east roof, head north and climb down a ladder. In the
shed youll find Memories of the Dead (1/6) Charitys Memory, your first piece of collectible loot in this
chapter. Plunder the shed (use Focus to make this easier) and climb back out.
Scale the pipe to the north and follow it until you reach an open vent. Follow it to your objective and spy
on the lone guard below. Quickly take him out with an aerial attack to complete your first objective.
Objective 2: Discover Where the Bodies are Taken
Head upstairs and hop over the crates when you reach a dead end. Steal every-thing in the office before
exiting back the way you came. Head downstairs to complete your objective.
Objective 3: Hook on to the Assembly Line
Jump out the east window and onto a beam. Jump to the north walkway and head east again. Sneak up
behind the guard and knock him out. Take the loot from his body and keep going east, looting as you go.
When you reach the as-sembly line, hook on to go for a ride.
Dont let your guard down as you score a free ride. As soon as you can see the crossbow guard, drop to
the ground to complete your objective.
Objective 4: Move Through the Old Manufacturing Area
This area is a maze of rooms and vents that contain a great deal of loot. Spend a few minutes exploring,
making sure not to step on broken glass. Theres a lot of loot in the maze of rooms, vents and hallways. In
fact, in the southwest hallway of the map, you will find a box with some blunt arrows. When you find the
arrows, go east around the corner (watch out for guards) and notice an anchor beam above. Fire a Rope

Arrow and then climb up. Hop over to the high walkway where youll find Flowers Eternal (2/6) Daisy
Brooch. Snag it and jump down to continue your journey.
Head through the north door. Be sure to neutralize any guards you come across. Typically they will split
up, giving you an opportunity to knock them out individually. Head for the north stairwell and go up. A lone
guard patrols the corridor. Wait for him to turn his back and take him out as well. To the east will be a
boarded up door with a peephole. Look through to see a secret room. Head up the north stairs to a dead
end and leap over the banister. Go through the crawl space to reach the secret room.
Plunder everything inside, including the safe. If youre looking for the combina-tion, its 3, 1, 4. Grab
the Unique Loot (3/9) Soul of the Automaton if youre looking for the collectibles. Theres also loot up
on the walkway above, so grab it and go through the hole below you. Move east until you come to a
sleeping guard. Best to knock him out before grabbing the note on the wall and completing your objective.
Objective 5: Find a Way to Bypass the Security Door
You cant go through the door near the sleeping guard without a key. Loot the room, including the chest
near the guard. Its locked, but you can pick it. Once you open it, youve found the key you seek.
If youre trying to gather more loot, backtrack through the east door where youll find two guards and an
inspector. There are no collectibles in there (besides a document), so were just going to show you how to
progress through the chapter. Use the key and open the door to complete your objective.
Objective 6: Hook Back on to the Assembly Line
Use the cabinet to save your progress and steal all the room has to offer. Move to the balcony and hook
back on to the assembly line. Again, be sure to drop off as soon as you see a guard. Trust us, its no fun
getting shot while hooked to an assembly line.
Objective 7: Find the Body of Cornelius
This is a quick one. Just move forward to trigger the cut scene with the Thief-Taker General. When you
regain control, the objective is complete.
Objective 8: Steal the Ring from the General
Keep heading to your objective and then climb up to the south. Snag the note off the wall. Quietly move
north and go through the door where you can find Serendi Stone Circles (2/7) Diamond Circle. Go
back the way you came and post up close to where you snagged the note off the wall a moment ago.
There are four guards in front of you. Sneak up to the one thats close, knocking him out. Oddly, you wont
get caught. Move along the north wall of the room, swooping between the inspection tables. Dont worry
about the guards.Just head up the stairs and peer through the keyhole to complete your objective.
Objective 9: Find Another Way into the Office
Back up a bit and climb the south wall of the furnace room (close to the guard leaning against the pillar).
Head into the vent and drop into the office.

Objective 10: Open the Generals Strongbox

Before you do anything, plunder the entire room. Lastly, move to the strongbox which requires you to
solve a puzzle. Luckily, weve done it for you. The image youre trying to re-create is one of the pictures on
the wall. If it helps at all, the center should feature a circle. When the box opens, grab Client Loot (3/8)
Corneliuss Ring. In case youre wondering, Client Loot (2/8) The Mechanical Hand can be found in
the Client Job Hand Tailored.
Objective 11: Escape the Foundry
Time to get out of here. Open the door, being careful not to alert the two guards outside. You can try to
sneak past them or take them out when they split up. Head south through the gate where there are two
more guards. Again, you can sneak past them or simply sprint and jump onto the wall, making a daring
escape.
When youre over the wall, go south and climb the pipe on the east wall. Follow it across and exit the
building through the south window. You can drop down (crashing through the roof) or take out all the
guards from the safety of your perch. Totally up to you. We killed them all with Fire Arrows before we
dropped down. Keep heading toward your objective, through a crawl space and out the window to
complete the chapter.
By completing this chapter, players will unlock the Dust to Dust trophy or achievement, depending on
what platform you play the game on.

Chapter 3: Dirty Secrets How to Remove the Ritual Book

Includes all collectible loot items and how to escape the ancient ruins.

Life All Loot Items 250 G
Before you being this chapter, its highly advised that you buy the wire cutter from the Shady Merchant
outside The Crippled Burrick. Without it, you cant get all the collectible loot this chapter has to offer.
Additionally, the approach we take requires the wire cutter tool. If you dont have it, return to The City and
grab it before proceeding.
Also, in order to even begin this chapter, you must visit Erins Mill Hideout. This can be done after you
meet Basso in the Black Alley and accept this mission. After the meeting, follow your objective markers.
The City can be tough to na-vigate, so just keep moving from district to district, always perusing the objective. The medallion is found by touching the painting of Garret after he has his vision.
Objective 1: Find the Entrance to the Brothel
Stay in the shadows and sneak forward. When you cant go any further, look to your right. There will be
two guards, one with his back to you and one facing you. Equip your Bow and a Blunt Arrow, shooting the
valve next to the guard facing you. When he falls, sneak up behind the second guard and knock him out.
Look at the pipes above you.If you have the wire cutter tool, you can climb up and hack a control box that
will give you access to a room with collectible loot. Drop down and enter the room where you will find
some common loot, as well as The Pinned Castinets (2/6) Jewelwing. If youre wondering where The
Pinned Castinets (1/6) Oilbox is found, its in Fish-Hawkers Market in The City.
Back out of the room and head down the stairs toward your objective. Look to your left and use the
wrench tool to unscrew the vent before heading inside. Walk across the beam and go east until you drop
into a side room. Slide down and move forward to complete your objective.
Objective 2: Get into the House of Blossoms
After sliding down the slope, move forward, climb the wall to the northeast and drop down. Climb up on
the boxes in the northeast corner and then to the beam. Head to the west and through a cave. Crawl
through some debris, climb a wall in front of you and drop down. Move through the curtain, swooping
behind the woman in front of you to knock her out. Nobody will notice and you can leave her body in the
middle of the floor.
Objective 3: Explore the Brothel for Clues
Claim any loot you want and move carefully into the kitchen in front of you. If theres a guard, sneak up on
him and take him down. Dont let the woman in the middle of the room catch you. When hes down (if hes
even there) take the woman out too.
Time for a big short cut that wont skip any collectible loot, but will make your life much easier. Head east
across the south balcony, picking the locked door. Go inside, grab all the loot and drop down to a crawl
space. Move through the crawl space and find the control box. If you cant find it, use Focus and you

should have no trouble at all. Hack the control box and go back the way you came. Leave the room and
drop down to the main kitchen area (where you knocked out the woman a moment ago). Pull the lever
thats close to the opium cooker. Youll notice a lot of steam and a bit of screaming. Thats the big short
cut; you just gassed everyone. You are now free to move around the brothel without a care in the world.
Move to the northeast corner of the kitchen and go through the curtains. Go through this entire floor
(excluding the kitchen and lobby, which youve already been through) and steal everything. Look high and
low. Dont even bother to sneak.Everyone is down for the count. Walk around like you own the place.
Both the main floor and second level have loads of loot. Be sure to use Focus in every room, looking both
high and low. There are several secret passage ways that lead to valuables. This is especially true for the
upper level bedrooms.
If youre looking for the collectible loot in this part, head to the west stairwell. Move up to the second
landing. Climb up to the pipes, enter the crawl space and claim theSerendi Stone Circles (3/7)
Emerald Circle.
Save Madame Xiao-Xiaos office until the end. Thoroughly loot it and then pick the lock on the door to the
east to enter her private chamber.
Objective 4: Access Xiao-Xiaos Secret Passage
We always like to close doors behind us; it just seems like good practice. Once in her private chamber, go
ahead and start looting the room. There are some great valuables here. Be careful of the safe on the east
wall; its trapped. Use the wire cutters to hack the control box beside it. The safes combination is in
documents that you previously picked up, but to save time, its 5, 7, 3.
When the room is picked clean, approach the painting on the north wall, pressing the two triggers. This
will bring you into the secret passage.
Objective 5: Find the Mysterious Podium
Head down the stairs and you will notice some peepholes in the walls. Peer through the first two and then
descend further down. When you come to a po-dium in the middle of the walkway, try to place the
medallion on it.
Objective 6: Discover the Remaining Symbols
You need to find four symbols in order to align the medallion and place it on the podium. The first one is
on the wall in front of you. Use your Focus to make sure you dont miss it. Then go back upstairs to look
through the two peepholes again. Use Focus each time you look through. The symbols will be on the far
walls. Go back downstairs, past the podium and down some more stairs. Peak through two more similar
peepholes (using Focus) to discover the remaining symbols.
Objective 7: Place the Medallion on the Podium
Go back to the podium and inspect it. This will allow you to properly align the symbols. They should be lit
up and form a line at the top of the medallion. Place it in the podium to complete the objective.

Objective 8: Explore the Ancient Ruins

Walk through the now open passage in front of you and jump down. Grab what-ever loot happens to be
laying around and squeeze through the debris. Go the only direction you can and press the loose brick on
the right side of the wall to avoid the trap. Go through the only door you can and down the stairs. Explore
the open room but dont go down the narrow hallway yet. Pick the lock in the large room and go inside.
Head down another set of stairs and through a narrow hallway.
Another podium awaits you. The four symbols you need to find are found in the four alcoves off to the side
of the narrow passage, before you reach the podium. Use Focus to get them all, then approach the
podium and interact with it. Once again, align the symbols and place it in the podium.
Snag Unique Loot (4/9) Ancient Figurine from the statue in front of you. In-spect the statue where you
just claimed the Unique Loot and use your Focus to observe another symbol. Return to the podium and
interact with it. Align a fifth symbol and re-insert the medallion. Grab the rest of the loot in the room and
head back out the way you came in.
Head through the door and use your Focus to look at the wall on the right. Theres a loose brick that you
can press to disable the trap. Now head down the west hallway toward your objective. Go through the
smashed out window and descend some stairs. If youre feeling like a daredevil, you can climb down the
ropes instead, it doesnt make any difference.
When you reach the bottom, go inside the tower and do some plundering. Head through the towers
smashed out window and straight ahead to a side passage beside the stairs. Follow it, climbing up the
south wall to complete your objec-tive.
Objective 9: Search the Abandoned Library for the Book
Drop to the bottom floor. Theres nothing in the circular room, so head south toward your objective. Peak
through the peephole on the east wall if you dare. Keep moving toward your objective until you enter a
large room. Theres two books in the room that when triggered, will open up to secret passages. Before
you do any of that, pick the room clean of loot.
First trigger the book in the northwest corner of the room. Stare at the glowing symbol on the wall to earn
a new Focus point. Open your journal, choose Focus Upgrades and spend your point. Grab
the Memories of the Dead (2/6) Stonemasons Memory from the little fountain and head back out of
the room. Go to the southeast corner of the room and trigger the next book to complete your objective.
Objective 10: Enter the Central Tower
This gets a bit tricky. Head down the stairs to the left and into the small, round room. Go through the
smashed window on the left and move along the walkway. Theres a wheel in front of you. Turn it so you
can access the stairs.
At the bottom of the stairs, turn left and walk southeast across the wooden walkway, turning east to go up
another set of stairs. Go into the tower, drop down to the ground level and grab the poppy. Exit the tower

through a west door and turn the wheel just outside. Go back in the tower, climb up and go down the
stairs you entered on. Walk to the central tower and take your first right, heading east to a the third wheel.
Turn the wheel to adjust another set of stairs. Walk up the stairs directly in front of you and walk clockwise
around the tower. Jump off the south side to a walkway below and head up yet another set of stairs.
Follow the stairs as far as you can go, pass through the room and up more stairs. Jump across the gap,
falling to the floor and directly in front of another podium.
Objective 11: Remove the Ritual Book
Use your Focus to find three trigger books around the room. Pull each book, causing the statues to turn.
Collect the loot from two inside the room. The loot from the third statue is outside on the walkway. Just
move counterclockwise around the walkway to snag it and then return to the interior of the tower.
Approach the podium and use Focus to identify four symbols that you need. Align the symbols and place
the medallion in its center to collect Client Loot (5/8) Ritual Book. If youre missing Client Loot (2/8)
The Mechanical Hand, it can be found in the Client Job Hand Tailored. Client Loot (4/8) The Talking
Skull can be found in the Client Job Happy Medium.
Objective 12: Escape the Ancient Ruins
If youve been following our instructions, you snagged all five collectible loot items in this chapter. Its
about time to get out of here. Climb on the table where you took the book and grab the rope. Ascend to
the top and swing to the west, landing on a wooden walkway. Head northwest to another tower, jump to a
rope and descend to the ground level. Follow your objective markers to a peephole. Look inside to see
two guards. Go to your left (south) and climb the wall in the southwest corner of the map. This will put you
on top of the rafters where the two guards are patrolling. Just to be safe, stay on your perch and take
them out with headshots from Broadhead Arrows.
Move across the beams to your objective, passing through the smashed out window. At this point, you are
simply retracing your steps, only there happen to be guards along the path. When you come to the
smashed out window, wait for the guard to pass, then sneak behind him and knock him out. Two more will
come down the stairs. We just waited for them and took them out with head-shots, but you can go at it
however youd like. Keep heading for the objective, eventually coming across one more guard. Take him
out with a headshot from a distance and move into the room he occupied. Climb on some crates and
ascend the ropes. Follow the objective marker, navigating some pipes and climbing up one last wall to
complete the chapter.
By completing this chapter, players will unlock the Dirty Secrets trophy or achievement, depending on
what platform you play the game on.
Chapter 4: A Friend in Need The Combination to the Great Safe
Beat the chapter, finding all collectible loot items and stealing the architects plans.

Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 350 G
Pick 8 Pockets 275 G
10 Kills or Knockouts 250 G
Lift All Loot Items 280 G
Before you begin the chapter, visit the Shady Merchant and stock up. You might also want to see the
Queen of Beggars to buy some additional Focus points. Buy the Razor Tool and Wrench Tool from the
Shady Merchant. Also be sure to stock up on all your arrows, especially Rope Arrows. Many short cuts
are available in this game, and most require Rope Arrows.
Objective 1: Find Jacob in Greystone Plaza
Walk about 10 feet, look to your right and you have completed your first objec-tive. Too bad they arent all
that easy.
Objective 2: Go to the Architects Grand House

Just follow your objectives, looking for loot and being careful not to fall off any ledges. There will be a brief
cut scene showing an explosion at The Keep. Slide down a slope and snag the poppy. Next, look to your
left and put a Rope Arrow in the anchor beam above. Descend the rope and head toward the two
benches. Underneath one you will find Serendi Stone Circles (4/7) Lapis Lazuli Circle. If you now
have four, youre on track. If youre missing any, check the previous three chapters for their locations.
Make sure to grab the arrows from the box on the barrel. Ascend the rope and continue your journey.
Objective 3: Find a Way Inside the House
It is possible to sneak into the house undetected, but its not easy. There are five guards hanging around.
We opted to take three out with headshots, killing the two patrolling guards by putting a Fire Arrow into the
ground next to the northeast barrel. Save them for last to avoid the others hearing the commotion. Use
Focus, look at the barrel and wait for the guards to pass through. Shoot the liquid with a Fire Arrow. Now
its just you and a couple of caged dogs. You can silence dogs with Choke Arrows, but even if they bark at
you, nobody is alive to hear it.
Explore the outside grounds of the mansion. Be sure to investigate the sheds to the east and west. There
isnt any collectible loot here so well show you how to enter the mansion. Look up to the northeast and
use Focus to spot a ladder. Shoot the gear next to the ladder with a blunt arrow, giving you access to a
crawl space that will put you on the mansions top floor. Its a major short cut, but misses a collectible loot
item.
Climb the ladder, but rather than go for the crawl space, head west along the balcony where you shot a
guard. Jump over to the top of the greenhouse and drop through the roof to find a poppy and a bag of
food. Consider saving your progress before turning the valve all the way to the right. Next, press a loose
brick to find a secret passage.
Climb down the ladder and immediately hack the control box on the wall to disarm a trap. Move along the
passage until you reach two peepholes. Peer inside, waiting for a cook to head upstairs. When he leaves
the room, visit the south peephole and press the button on the wall.
Objective 4: Get up to the Architects Study
Quickly hack the control box in the room and wait in the northwest corner for the cook to return. When he
does, sneak behind him and knock him out.
Shortcut: The control box is optional. If you just want to snag the Remain Undetected Thieving
Challenge, go back out of the room the way you came. You can take an elevator directly to the architects
study. Its a major short cut which will cause you to miss out on collectible loot. Your call, but well show
you the long way.

Sneak up to the kitchen where youll find a guard. Move quickly, and when he tries to leave the room, hit
him with your Blackjack, knocking him out. If you let him get to the foyer, he could just stand there. If he
gets to the foyer, take him down with headshot from a Broadhead Arrow.
With him down, youre free to explore the first floor. Loot everything but save the room to the east for last.
When you go inside, find a button on the side of the desk. Press the button to reveal a safe on the north
wall. Pick the lock to open the safe and claim Unique Loot (4/9) Morendrum Medal. When you have all
the loot the first floor has to offer, save your game and head upstairs.
Two of the second floor rooms have people in them, with a lone guard at the top of the third floor stairs,
trying to get into the study. When you get to the second floor, enter the bathroom to the southeast. You
can then sneak into a northeast room, knocking out a maid and the architects wife. Next, move over to
the northwest hallway, where another maid and guard are chatting it up. From the doorway, take out a
caged bird with a Choke Arrow. Sneak into the room, climbing up on the bookshelves above the rooms
two occupants. From here, you can take them down however you want, although staying undetected is
tough.
When theyre down, go back into the hall and up the stairs toward the guard by the study. Knock him out,
use the Razor Tool and snag The Court of Montonessi (8/12) The Abundance of Emptiness. If you are
wondering where the previous seven are, they can found in various parts of The City and by doing a few
of the Client Jobs. Go back to the room where you knocked out the two women and loot it, making sure
not to miss the safe. There are quite a lot of valuables in here.
Head back into the library (where you took down the guard and maid) and pull a book on the shelf. If you
cant find it, use Focus. Move through the secret passage, press the button on the wall and ride the
elevator up. When the ride is over, move through the passage and press the button on the wall to enter
the study.
Objective 5: Search the Study for the Keep Plans
Climb the ladder to the balcony. Move to the painting on the wall and feel for the triggers. When you find
them, a large model of the Keep will emerge from the floor. Head down to the model and arrange the
pieces to match the Keep, which you can see just outside the window. Your objective is complete when
you correctly solve the puzzle.
Objective 6: Steal the Plans and Escape
Head to the bookshelf and steal the Keep Plans and Great Safe Combination. When you regain control,
sprint to the north. You can pretty much hold the sprint/climb/jump button down the entire way to make
your escape.
Objective 7: Get to the Keep
When the cut scene ends, go left and visit the Shady Merchant. A great time to stock up on your various
arrows. We like to bring the maximum allowance for each arrow whenever possible. You never know if
things will go badly.

Go east and climb a rope which will lead to an attic. Move through the crawl space to continue making
your way toward the Keep.
Objective 8: Get Inside the Keep
Everyone around you is dead or dying, so dont bother sneaking. Just be careful of the Keep itself. Thats
your only source of danger right now. Move to your objective, being sure to avoid exploding pipes. As
soon as you drop to a walkway it collapses. Move east along a large pipe until you reach a very large
piston. When it retracts, swoop past it. If youre too slow, it will crush you. Move through the crawl space to
complete your objective.
Objective 9: Find and Rescue Basso
It goes without saying, but avoid fire. Move to the southwest corner of the room and turn a valve. Head
north and then turn west, brining you to a control box and a door. Hack the control box and then open the
door. Plunder the room, go back out and head toward your objective. The smoke in this room harms you,
so keep an eye on your health and eat some food if necessary. When you are out of the smoke, pick the
locked door to the east.
This area features two collectible loot items. Straight ahead, on the body of the dead guard is Memories
of the Dead (3/6) Soldiers Memory. Keep moving to the far east where you can get the City Heritage
Plaques (12/16) The Keep. Many of the City Heritage Plaques are not found within the chapters, but in
The City itself.
Get on the elevator and take a ride upwards. When you exit the elevator, begin looting the surrounding
area, then head toward your objective. When you come to a lever, pull it and move through to save Basso.
Objective 10: Find the Great Safe
Take another elevator ride up and climb through the roof hatch. Move through the crawl space and jump
down to the floor below. Approach and pull the lever in the middle of the room to reveal the safe.
Objective 11: Open the Great Safe
There are switches on each side of the safe. Press one, then run to the other side and press the other. If
youre too slow, youll have to repeat the process. When the locks are reset, approach the dials to input
the combination. There are two sets of dials, each requiring its own combination. The left dial is 3, 1, 9
and the right dial is 0, 1, 8.
When the cut scene ends and you regain control, climb the wall directly to the east. Move left and take
cover by a crate. When the guard on the landing isnt looking, knock him out from behind. Immediately
press a button on the control panel to turn the lights out, giving you the advantage of the shadows. Go
back to the north end of the alcove the guard was patrolling. Once there, you can claim The Moral Coils
(4/6) Shale Snake Bracelet. If your number doesnt match ours, youve missed one in our walkthrough
or in The City itself. Thats the final collectible item for this chapter.

Move back to the control panel where you knocked out the guard. You could work your way around the
room and knock out the rest of the search party, but we achieved headshots with our Broadhead Arrows.
You might raise their alarm, but youre far enough away that you can take them out safely.
Objective 12: Steal the Primal Stone
When the last guard is down, move back to the safe and input the right side combination again. The safe
will open, allowing you to steal the Primal Stone, ending the chapter.
By completing this chapter, players will unlock the A Friend in Need trophy or achievement, depending
on what platform you play the game on.
Chapter 5: The Forsaken How to Kill the Freaks
We show you the location of all six collectibles, including the Flowers Eternal Rose Brooch.

Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 400 G
Take No Damage 300 G
12 Kills or Knockouts 275 G
Lift All Loot Items 350 G
Before you begin this chapter, visit the Shady Merchant and purchase lots of arrows, reaching maximum
capacity with your Fire Arrows. In addition, purchase the Bow Strength upgrade or the steps we provide
will be difficult to follow.

Objective 1: Reach the Asylum Grounds

Sprint forward and climb the wall to get on the asylum grounds. Move around to the left of the building and
snag the City Heritage Plaques (9/16) Moira Asylum. Move to the right of the building, prompting the
front door to open up. After the door opens, visit the statue in front for some loot. Note that its not there
before the doors open.
Objective 2: Find Information about Erin
Go inside and look through the peephole. When the doors open, loot the entire lobby, downstairs and
upstairs. When youre finished looting, go through the south revolving doors to reach the Mens Ward.
There is only one collectible here, but theres also a very important clue to progress the chapter.
Head east when you enter the Mens Ward and look for an office with a valve. Turn the valve to open a
gate, allowing you to pass through more revolving doors. Go through those doors to enter the rooms the
inmates were kept in.
There are a lot of rooms to search and plunder. You can go through them all and nothing will hurt you.
Avoid rooms M02 and M12 until the end. When youve searched high and low, satisfied you have looted
everything possible, enter M02 and look through the peephole on the south wall.
Exit the room and use your Razor Tool to snag the painting, collecting The Court of Montonessi (10/12).
If your collectible loot number is different than ours, check our walkthroughs earlier chapters or in The
City itself.
Now move on to room M12. Theres a key on the floor that will give you access to the Womens Ward.
Pick it up to complete the objective.
Objective 3: Enter the Womens Ward
Loot the room and exit to see a document on the wall. Take the document to learn the Night Warden is
now on duty. Hes not much fun if he catches you, but if you take the right path, its fairly simple to get by
him. From the letter, run left, then turn right and move down the hall. Take the first hall on your right and
sprint to the end. The revolving doors should be on your left. Go through and leave the Night Warden
safely behind you.
Pass through two sets of revolving doors to find yourself in part of the Womens Ward. Your objective
should be close by. Use the key to open the door, enter the room and turn the valve. Leave the room,
approaching the north stairs. Dont go down, but put a Rope Arrow in the anchor beam above. Descend
the rope to land on top of an elevator. Drop further to land in a room which contains a Flowers Eternal
(5/6) Rose Brooch. If you cant find it, use Focus and look up.
Backtrack the way you came and head to your objective marker just outside the office where you turned
the valve. Go through the revolving door to progress your objective. Note that there is a lot of loot to be
had around the asylum, but were sticking with collectibles and showing you how to beat the chapter. If
you wish to explore, just return to this area when youre done and pick up where you left off.
Objective 4: Search for the Asylum Records

There arent any collectible loot items in the Womens Ward, but you have to get into the south office to
complete your objective. Nothing will harm you here (not even the Night Warden), so explore all rooms
except W07.
When the place is cleaned out, pick the lock and enter room W07. Crawl through the hole in the wall to
enter W05. Climb into the window and leap to access the south office. Snag the three documents here,
using Focus if you have a hard time finding them.
Objective 5: Move to the Treatment Wing
Head toward your objective, pushing past the debris to complete your objective.
Objective 6: Descend to the Treatment Level
Snag the note on the wall in front of you, go down the stairs and through the door. Jump to the beam and
then the platform beyond. Theres a gate blocking the path. Go upstairs, turn the wheel to raise the gate
and then head down to the bottom level. Keep moving toward your objectives until they update.
Objective 7: Access Room 3F
Move forward, looking into the various rooms if you want. Room 3F is to the south. Head that way to find
that you cant get in without restoring the power.
Objective 8: Find and Start the Power Generator
Loot the office and hallway first, watching out for a trap that can be disabled through the control box. Go
as far to the west as you can, loot the room and flip the switch. This will turn the generator on.
Objective 9: Find a Way into Room 3F
The lights are on but youre still safe. Consider saving the game at this point, using the cabinet by the
generator. Go back to the office and hit the switch to open the various cells. There are crazy patients
roaming about, but youre safe for now with the gate closed. Leave the office and go into the open door
across the hall. Loot the room and then crawl through to room 3F.
Objective 10: Descend to the Asylums Lowest Level
Now youre in danger. Look out of your room to see a crazy patient. Theres a total of three threats, and it
is possible to sneak up on them all. Instead, we advise tossing a bottle into the hallway to make a bit of
noise and get their at-tention. Then, either take the two patients out with headshots, or ignite the
flammable liquid on the floor. Its much more comforting knowing they are down. Theres a third in his cell,
but well get to him in a moment.
When at least two of the patients are down, go to cell 3E. Loot the place, mak-ing sure to open the safe
and snag the Serendi Stone Circles (5/7) Ivory Circle. If youre looking for the combination, its 7, 3, 1.
Keep looting the rooms in succession. If youve followed our advice, room 3C is empty except for a poor
guy strung up in a torture device. Youll find loot on top of and underneath the device. Use the lever to
raise and lower it as need be.

Sneak through the crawl space to enter room 3B. Theres a patient building a fire (sure, why not?), but you
can sneak behind him and knock him out. We didnt throw his body in the fire, but why not give it a try and
see what happens? Loot the room and go back to the previous room. Drop down the elevator shaft and
use the vent to continue. Keep looting and moving until your objective updates.
Objective 11: Locate Erins Holding Cell
At this point, youve seen a couple of Freaks. Thats the name for the monster like creatures that you keep
catching a glimpse of. Theres a total of eight in this area. If you followed our advice and stocked up on
Fire Arrows, as well as Bow Strength, you can kill them all. If not, youll have to sneak by them. Do not try
to melee them, youll lose that battle every time. A Fire Arrow to the head or Blast Arrow to the body is the
best way to kill them. You could also set them on fire by shooting the flammable liquid they often walk
through.
Loot the reception area and then sneak through the doorway to the north. There will be a Freak that is
banging its head against the wall. Shoot it with a Fire Arrow. One down, seven to go. Keep moving up on
this route. Two more Freaks are to your west, along the north wall of the room. Sneak forward, taking each
of them out the same as you did the one before. Three down, five to go. Head to the northwest of the
room where you will find a vase that you can smash. With no Freaks around, smash the vase and
the Memories of the Dead (4/6) Childs Memory is yours. If you arent on number four of this
collectible, check our walkthrough for one youve missed, or visit The City where many collectibles are
found.
Backtrack all the way to the reception desk and approach the west railing be-hind it. Use Focus and you
should see a couple of Freaks in front of you and to your left. Time to test your bow skills. Wait for one of
the Freaks to walk into the southeast corner and take him down with a headshot. If you hit the target,
nobody will be the wiser. If you miss, Freaks will start looking for you. Luckily, youre fairly safe from this
vantage point. Kill all the Freaks you can here and then vault the railing. Sneak forward just a bit before
climbing on some crates to the south. Put a Rope Arrow into the anchor beam above to go with the one
already there. Jump from one rope to another, then to the walkway in the middle of the room. Up here, you
will find theUnique Loot (6/9) Mechanical Eye. If you arent on number four of this particular collectible,
check the pre-vious chapters in our walkthrough, as well as The City. Many collectibles are in The City,
not the actual story chapters.
With this loot, you can quietly drop down to the floor and sneak toward your objective. As long as you
dont land on or walk through glass, you should be fine. Freaks cant actually see you, they can only hear
you. If you do come close to one left alive, just sneak past it.
Continue forward, following the markers until your objective is updated.
Objective 12: Leave the Asylum
This is fairly straightforward just walk outside. Thats it, one of the creepiest chapters in the game is now
complete.

By completing this chapter, players will unlock The Forsaken trophy or achievement, depending on what
platform you play the game on.
Chapter 6: A Man Apart How to Steal the Primal Stone Fragment
We show you how to crack the Barons safe and acquire the Heart of the Lion.

Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 425 G
Disable 5 Traps 300 G
10 Kills or Knockouts 300 G
Lift All Loot Items 400 G
This chapter features a total of six collectible loot items. We will guide you through how to get each one of
them. Make sure you are fully stocked up on all available arrow types. Also be sure to bring the Wire
Cutter Tool and Wrench Tool.
Objective 1: Find a Way into the Barons Mansion
The first part of this chapter makes it very difficult to stay undetected. Well do our best but our goal is to
show you how to beat the mission and gather the collectibles. Some of our violent advice might lead to
you missing the Remain Undetected Thieving Challenge.
Immediately climb onto the ledge in front of you. There is one patrolling guard. Wait for him to pass by and
perform an aerial takedown. Be careful of the caged dog nearby. Your first piece of collectible loot is on
the southeast pillar in the same area you took down the guard. Snag The Pinned Castinets Greater
Ruststain (1/6).
Head back to where you started and go south into the courtyard. A guard will patrol near there, but if
youre careful, you can knock him out without his partner knowing. Once hes down, keep moving to the
south. Another guard pa-trols close by. Let him get close to you and knock him out in the shadows. If you

do it in the light, his partner will see. When hes down, head south along the east wall and knockout the
third guard in the area.
Head to the east, hugging the south wall. Sneak up to the base of the balcony and go inside the room.
Loot it and then head back out. Face east and climb a wall directly between the two sets of stairs. You will
be close to the guards, but the shadows will hide you. One of the City Heritage Plaques (16/16) Elias
Northcrest Statue will be right in front of you. If you dont have all 16, you might be missing one from an
earlier chapter, or one of the many that can be found in The City.
When its safe, swoop to the southeast corner. From here, wait for the patrolling guard with the sword to
pass by, and when hes behind the statue, knock him out. Next, go for the guard by the south balcony. You
can easily sneak behind him (pick his pocket if you want) and knock him out. Two more guards are to the
north.Leave them alone but consider using a Choke Arrow on the dog nearby. He will give away your
position in a hurry.
Keep moving north through the winding path. There are more guards ahead, so continue to crouch. When
nobody is looking, go down the stairs and head to the shadows to the west. The guards will be close, but
you can stay here without being detected. Move north and then east, following the guard who walks the
east path. Sneak up behind him and knock him out when hes away from the crowd. Use a Choke Arrow
to silence the nearby dog. No need to backtrack, leave the other two guards alone and go forward. Use a
Blunt Arrow to shoot a hanging box down. Climb up the box, onto a platform and put a Rope Arrow in an
anchor beam above. Climb up the rope and pry the window open.
Objective 2: Confront the Baron in His Private Study
Move through the attic and exit into the hall. Sneak up behind the guard and knock him out. We threw the
body in the attic, but it really isnt necessary. Go down the stairs to the second floor where a few guards
are patrolling.
Climb up on a cabinet in the hall and use the Wire Cutter Tool to hack the con-trol box. Back up to the
base of the stairs, climb another wall and use the Wrench Tool to remove a vent cover. Sneak across the
upper ledge, using the Wrench Tool to move back into the hall and hack the second control box. Drop to
the hall floor and feel free to loot the rooms to the east and west.
When youre done, go back into the hall and move south. Enter a door directly in front of you and look
through a peephole to get an optional objective, Find a Way into the Secret Room. Exit the room, follow
the hall to the left and take the first door on your right. Hack the control panel, exit the room, turn right and
look for an odd painting on your left. Pull the two switches to enter the secret room.
Move to the south of the chest to start working on the lock. From top to bottom.
Row 1 No Adjustment
Row 2 Right x 1

Row 3 Left x 1
Row 4 Right or Left x 2
Move to the north side of the chest and align the rows so that each row turns red. Go claim Unique Loot
(8/9) Heart of the Lion. If you have a different number of this particular set, check to see if you missed
one in a previous chapter. There are also many collectibles found in The City.
Exit the room the same way you entered, backtracking down the hall toward the stairwell you took to
descend from the attic. Pick the lock on the double doors to the east to enter the library. Sneak behind the
guard and knock him out. Quietly loot if you want, heading out the same doors you came in. Turn right
and go downstairs.
You can bypass the first floor and head to the cellars, but theres no collectible loot down there. There are
no guards, so if you want an easy score, head down. Beware of traps in the basement, using Focus to
identify and neutralize them. Otherwise, lets start making our way through the first floor.
Sneak into the kitchen and look through the keyhole to the west. Thats the Great Hall. When the coast is
clear, open the door, knock out the guard and hide the body. We threw him down the kitchen stairs. Go in
the room where the guard was, face east and climb the wall. When a patrolling guard returns, use an
aerial attack to knock him out; tossing his body down the stairs is optional. Feel free to loot the Great Hall
now.
Theres a bedroom to the east of the kitchen. Loot it if you want, but return to the Great Hall afterwards.
Go through the south doors of the Great Hall to enter the library. There are three guards and caged birds
to worry about, so move quietly through the shadows. Even though using a Choke Arrow on the birds
seems like a good idea, the guards will know something is wrong if they notice the dead bird. Do not
swoop near birds, since they will start squawking. Instead, climb up on the bookshelves and wait for one
of the guards to wander off on his own. Use an aerial attack to take him down. Knocking out the other two
guards without being detected is tough, if not impossible. Try distracting one of them by throwing an object
or firing a Blunt Arrow. When one guard investigates, take him out with a headshot. Then quickly turn to
the remaining guard and finish him. With them down, steal everything in the library.Youve earned it.
Exit the library to the left and follow the hall. Be careful, guards are patrolling a bit further down. Try
throwing an object into the northwest corner of the hall. When one guard investigates, put one of your
Broadhead Arrows in his face. The other guard who is standing at the far south of the hall wont see a
thing. Put an arrow in his head to clear the area.
Begin exploring the rooms on the west side of the hall. The second room has a safe. The combination is
8, 8, 9. Open the safe to claim one of the Serendi Stone Circles (6/7) Sapphire Circle. Go back into
the hall and keep following it around to the Waiting Hall. There are two guards in here and they are tough
to knockout. Again, try Blunt Arrows or throwing an object to create a distraction. Or you can always try
and sneak upstairs, but the second floor of the Waiting Hall is your goal.

When you reach the door of the Study Tower, climb up to crawl through to an adjoining room. Climb the
pipes around the elevator shaft to move toward your objective. When you cant go any further, jump to
another pipe and then some stairs. Climb the stairs to reach the Study Tower.
Objective 3: Enter the Ceremony Room
When the elevator opens, go forward and back into the Waiting Hall. Theres a lot of Graven in here, but
they are basically just guards with different clothes. They have no additional or special abilities. Take out
the first Graven as soon as you open the door. Dont let him get too far. Swoop left and wait for another
Graven to walk out in front of you. Again, quickly take him down before he gets around the corner. You
can also try the chaos approach. Dont attack either of the first two Graven you see. Let them move to a
landing (there should be two or three huddled together) and put a Blast Arrow on one. That should get you
at least three kills. Pick the rest off with Broadhead Arrows as they scurry about trying to find you.
Head toward the second floors west hallway. Move up until you see a Graven killing another man. Put him
down with a headshot and then take out his partner before he makes a big fuss. Theres another greedy
Graven in the room to the south; if he heard the commotion, youve already met him. If you were quiet,
sneak up behind him and knock him out.
Exit through the rooms west door and find a painting hanging on the east wall. Collect The Court of
Montonessi (11/12) The Married Spinster. If you have a different number of these collectibles, try
looking through previous chapters. Also, many of the games collectibles are found in The City.
Objective 4: Find the Passage to the Barons Laboratory
While facing where the painting was, turn right and climb over some crates. Two Graven are on patrol in
the Ceremony Room. Take them out when they split up, move to the southwest corner of the room and
press the loose brick.
Objective 5: Descend into the Laboratory
Finally, an easy objective. Pull the lever on the wall and descend the spiral stairs. When you reach the
bottom, your objective is complete.
Objective 6: Acquire the Primal Stone Fragment
Go as far down as you can and pull the lever to turn the machine on. Head ups-tairs, pass the machines
controls and keep going up more stairs. Put a Rope Ar-row into the anchor beam above you. Jump to the
rope, descend a short ways and hop to a platform. Sitting on a crate, you will find the Memories of the
Dead (5/6) Braggarts Memory. If you dont have five of them, you might be missing some from the
previous chapters. Many of the games collectible loot items are also found in The City. Go back up the
rope and approach the ma-chines controls.
Look for a crack in the glass of the contraption. Use the left valve wheel to po-sition the rings so the crack
is between them. You know you hit the spot when the machine starts to shake. Next, turn the right valve
wheel to increase the rings speed. This will form a second crack. Go back to the left valve and repeat the
process. When a third crack forms, adjust the valve wheels for a third time. When the glass breaks, go
collect your prize.

Objective 7: Escape from the Manor

As soon as you regain control, try to climb up the wall near the objective marker. Thats all there is to it.
Objective 8: Exit the Sewers
Youre being chased, but you have plenty of time. Just sprint through the sewers, moving in the direction
of the objective. When you exit to fresh air, objective complete.
Objective 9: Get Across the Bridge
Although this part isnt particularly hard, its also quite easy to take a wrong step and die. When you exit
the sewers, turn right and sprint to the end of the dock and use your Blackjack to hit the reel. Backtrack
the way you came and run across the boat. Keep moving toward your objective, jumping from one dock to
another. When you hit the third one, sprint off of it before it collapses.
The rest of the chapter is more of the same. Continue to move in the only di-rection you can until you are
safely across the bridge.
By completing this chapter, players will unlock the A Man Apart trophy or achievement, depending on
what platform you play the game on.
Chapter 7 : The Hidden City How to Beat the Boss Fight: Thief-Taker General
How to find all four collectible loot items and kill all four Freaks in the Hidden City.

Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 500 G
2 Environmental Exploits 300 G
15 Kills or Knockouts 325 G
Life All Loot Items 450 G

Before you begin this chapter, make sure you are fully stocked up on all your arrows. Although it is
possible to remain undetected, the goal of our walk-through is to show you the collectible loot items and
how to complete the chapter. At times, we may approach situations with straight up combat rather than
stealth. Rest assured, there is a Shady Merchant on this level. You can stock up on various arrows before
your boss fight with the Thief-Taker General. As a final note, save all of your Blast Arrows for the fight.
Objective 1: Reach the Cathedral in Old Quarter
Go through the locked gate and scale the wall in front of you. Look up and put a Rope Arrow into the
anchor beam. There is a Graven on the balcony next to the rope, so ascend carefully and jump over when
he is facing south. Stay in the shadows, and even when he walks near you, he wont see you. As soon as
he turns his back to you, knock him out in the shadows. If he falls in the light, other Graven will take
notice.
From the shadows of his perch, go about picking off the remaining Graven with your Broadhead Arrows.
Although you might raise suspicion, remaining unde-tected is extremely difficult. If you just want to beat
the chapter and get the collectibles, start shooting.
When the area is clear, sneak through a south crawl space to reach the south yard. There are two men in
this area.Sneak up behind both of them and knock them out. Climb some crates to the south to reach the
Bell Tower. Theres loot to be had here. When youre done, climb up a rope and leap to some stairs. Head
through the wall to complete your objective.
Objective 2: Descend into the Pit
Youre now in the Old Cathedral. This area is crawling with Graven and remaining undetected takes a lot
of patience. Drop down and take out the Graven with the crossbow. Head east and do the same with the
Graven carrying the torch. Thats two down. Most of the others are hanging out to the north. Swoop to the
north, along the path where the Graven with the torch was patrolling. Climb on some crates against the
east wall and take out the Graven on the balcony with a headshot. Fire a Rope Arrow into the beam above
and make your way to the balcony. From here, its a matter of sneaking through the shadows and
systematically knocking out the remaining Graven. When youre all done, pull the lever on the supply lift at
the south side of the room, hop on and enjoy the ride.
Objective 3: Find a Way Up to the Graven City
As soon as the elevator comes to a stop, leap out and grab the wall. Shimmy across until you cant go any
further and drop down. Move to the valve wheel and turn it to lower the bridge. The bridge will
automatically ascend, so jump to it, sprint across and jump to solid ground on the other side. Head into
the alcove and snag Unique Loot (9/9) City Artifact. If you dont have all nine pieces of Unique Loot,
try checking our walkthrough for the previous chapters. Much of the collectible items can also be found in
The City. Head back across the bridge to return to the side you started on.
Climb the wall to your left and head into the tunnel. Follow it until you reach light. Watch the floor trap on
the right. Climb to the top of the room and hack the control box. Grab the loot from the floor before

vaulting a short wall to the east. Continue through the tunnel and up the south stairs by its exit. When you
run out of stairs, pick the locked door on your left and hack the control box. Loot the room, exit and climb
up some crates and a wall in front of you. This will put you behind some Graven, one being to the north,
patrolling the walkway. Jump to the walkway and hide behind the ledge, when he moves north, hop the
ledge, knock him out and crouch to remain unseen. Your objective should be to the east now. Wait for a
Graven to poke his head out from the tunnel near your objective. Follow him when he goes back inside
and take the easy knockout. Return to the walkway to finish off the final Graven who is carrying the torch.
From here, proceed to loot the area as you see fit. Look high and low as there are a few secret areas
close by. Theres no collectible loot, so well move on. When youre done, move toward your objective
marker until you come across a dying Graven (you might also see a Freak scurry away). Squeeze through
the boxes to enter an area with four Freaks and one collectible.
Sneak through the tunnel to see three Freaks to the east. No problem, just stay where you are and get out
your Fire Arrows. It doesnt matter what order you do it, but take them out with three well placed
headshots. Of course, you need headshots from Fire Arrows and the Bow Strength upgrade from the
Shady Mer-chant. If youve been following our walkthrough, you obtained this upgrade prior to the fifth
chapter, The Forsaken.
When all three Freaks are down, exit the tunnel and go down the stairs to the left. Put a Rope Arrow in the
anchor beam above and cross over to another platform. Theres another rope ahead of you, jump to it and
drop to the ground. There will be a Freak directly ahead of you. Take him out with a Fire Arrow headshot
to clear the room. Backtrack to the platform between the two ropes. Pick the lock, enter the room and
hack the control box. In the chest you will find The Mortal Coils (6/6) Bronzehead Bracelet. if you
dont now have all six, check our walkthroughs for the previous chapter. A great deal of loot is also found
in The City.
Now head to the objective marker to the north. Turn the wheel to open the door and head through to the
next area.
Keep moving forward until you reach a tall ladder, climb it and keep scaling crates and the wall. You will
end up in front of two Graven.Put your back to the wall and they wont see you. Climb the wall to your left
and move through the crawl space. Your objective will be just below you. When the guard enters the
room, take him out with an aerial attack. Next, move on to knockout the guard in the next room.
Loot the area and proceed toward your objective, squeezing through some debris to reach another room.
Turn the wheel to open the door to the north where many Graven are waiting. Keep sneaking toward your
objective, taking the opportunity to save if you see a cabinet. A short distance ahead, your objective will
be updated.
Objective 4: Enter the Rotunda

Theres at least four Graven in this area. Although it is very possible to remain undetected, were going to
advise that you get four of your sharpest Broadhead Arrows out and deal with them quickly. Try to target
Graven who are in the shadows, away from the pack.
Also note that the Shady Merchant is showing up on your mini map. Sneak over to him and buy up every
arrow type you can get. Make sure you are full of Blast Arrows for the boss battle ahead.
When you have cleaned the area of Graven (and loot), move up to hear a con-versation two Graven are
having. When they stop, one will pass out in a chair and the other will start off on a patrol. Look up and to
the north, toward your objective. There is a rope hanging and an anchor beam for a second one. Put a
Rope Arrow in the second beam. When the coast is clear, climb the covered crate to the north and up to
another wooden walkway.
Jump from one rope to another, finally landing on a walkway to the north. Continue along this way until
you reach the south side. Grab the Memories of the Dead (6/6) Elders Memory. If you dont have all
of them at this point, try looking back through our walkthrough. Also, many collectibles in Thief are not
found within the chapters, but rather The City itself.
Proceed toward your objective, turning the valve wheel to open the doors.
Boss Battle: Thief-Taker General
When the cut scene ends, take cover behind the nearest pillar. For an easy win, equip your Blast Arrows
and swoop to your right (counterclockwise). Take cover behind another pillar and hit the Thief-Taker
General with a Blast Arrow. Go for body shots to ensure you dont miss. Move to another pillar and take
another shot. You can also opt to hit him with a Choke Arrow, briefly stunning him so you get a couple
clear shots in. Soon, the Thief-Taker General will drop to one knee, signaling that the battle is over.
You can choose to loot or finish him off. The choice is yours. Either way, snag theSerendi Stone Circles
(7/7) Amber Circle from his body. Make sure you loot the entire room before cranking the two valves to
open the gate. Exit through the gate to complete the chapter.
By completing this chapter, players will unlock The Hidden City trophy or achievement, depending on
what platform you play the game on.
Chapter 8: The Dawns Light How to Beat Final Boss: Primal Erin
How to find both collectible loot items and get past the Freaks.

Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 550 G
Take No Damage 325 G
14 Kills or Knockouts 175 G
Lift All Loot Items 325 G
This is the final chapter of the game. The Final Boss: Primal Erin does not require any weapons, so use
whatever you have to make your journey easier. Since theres a Shady Merchant in this chapter, we took
and aggressive approach. Make sure youre stocked up on Fire Arrows, Blast Arrows and Rope Arrows.
All will come in handy.
Objective 1: Discover Where Orion Has Taken Erin
The first part of the mission contains many Freaks. Remember, they cant see you, but they are sensitive
to sound. Stay crouched, avoid glass and be very quiet. From your start point, go east (not right and not
up any stairs) until you hit a wall. Turn right and go through the crawl space. When you emerge, theres a
Freak waiting for you. Line it up and take him out with a headshot from a Fire Arrow.
Note: In order to kill a Freak with a Fire Arrow, you must hit them in the head and must have the Bow
Strength upgrade. You can get the upgrade from the Shady Merchant. Also, do not use Focus near them
or they will begin to detect you.
When the freak is down, move along the path, turning left (south) at the corner. There will be another
Freak standing a short distance away. Take him out with a Fire Arrow headshot and move to where his
body fell. Theres a chest where he was standing, pick the lock and claim The Pinned Castinets (6/6)
Mourning Bell. If you dont have all of this collectible set, you can find more in the walkthroughs for the
previous chapters. Also, many collectibles are found outside of the story chapters, in The City itself.
Backtrack to the north and climb the wall to your left. Be careful, a Freak pa-trols this walkway. When you
get to the top, take him out with a Fire Arrow headshot and keep moving south, following the winding
tunnel. When you reach its end, drop down and go right. Pick the lock in front of you and go through the

door. If you are as paranoid as we are, close the door behind you to make sure no Freaks approach from
behind.
Objective 2: Find a Way to the Boat
Drop down to your right and move through the crawl space, heading north. Take cover behind a crate as a
Graven walks directly toward you. Let him pass in to the shadows and then knock him out. Backtrack to
the entrance of the crawl space, turn north and crawl through a cave. When you exit, climb the pipes on
the wall to your left. Hang on the last pipe for a bit, waiting for the Graven to move away. When he does,
drop to the ground level and take cover in the shadows. When the Graven returns, hit him with a
Broadhead Arrow to the skull, making sure he doesnt fall into the light. Theres another Graven above
you. Stick to the west side and move south. Hack the control box in the southwest corner. Climb up the
stairs and when you reach the top, take out the guard near the railing. Go up some more stairs, open a
door on your left and swoop to the northwest corner. Rather than mess with the Graven in the room,
sneak in the crawl space in the corner and move on. No need to risk detection unless you want the loot.
Objective 3: Board the Dawns Light
Drop from you perch and visit the Shady Merchant on your right. Stock up on all the arrows you can. By
now gold should not be an issue.
Climb the boxes to the north of the Shady Merchant and wait for a Graven to come down the path. You
might want to take cover in the shadows to the west. When he turns to go back up the path, swoop and
take him down. Continue up the path, easily sneaking behind another Graven to pick his pockets and
knock him out. Search the area for loot and you should find some arrows nearby.
Head west along a ledge and climb the wall. Face south and look up to see an anchor beam. Put a Rope
Arrow into it and jump over. Climb the rope and jump to another platform. To the south will be another
rope.Jump to that, descend to the bottom and drop to the floor. Climb the pipe in front of you and like the
previous pipes, just follow it until you cant go any further.
When you drop to the stairs, climb up and move west toward your objective. Just keep moving until you
reach a room with several guards. Take cover behind a crate and wait for a guard to move west (toward
you). When he stops to look at some boxes, knock him out. Head toward the stairs to the south, wait for
the guard to look at the desk, sneak behind him take him out.
Youre now headed up the stairs and to the northeast side of the room. Make sure to swoop when you
pass light sources. When you reach the top, wait for the guard in the room to turn his back, open the door
and knock him out with your Blackjack. If his body didnt fall in a shadow, feel free to use a Water Arrow to
douse the nearby wall torch.
Go back down the stairs you came up and stop on the landing. Look to the south where two guards can
be seen patrolling. Taking them out while remaining undetected is tough. When you have an opening,

move south and climb up on a shelf to the east, right near the alcove. Wait until the one Graven is in the
area and drop him with a headshot. If the other Graven hears, youll have three more arrive on the scene
to investigate. Just take them all out with headshots as well.
When the area is clear, move west along the walkway, taking the southeast stairs to the top level. Climb
the south wall and drop into an elevator. When the elevator stops, the door will open and a Graven will be
check inside. Stay in the corner and he wont see you. When he heads back to the railing, sneak out of
the elevator and swoop to the left. When the Graven returns to the elevator, swoop behind him and go for
the knockout.
Go through the door to the east, knock out the lone Graven guard and loot the room. Open the south door,
sneak behind another Graven and take him down. Make your way east, passing by the elevator you arrive
on. Go inside the room and take your third Graven down when hes inspecting the desk. On the east wall
is The Court of Montonessi (12/12) Compassion Foul. If you dont have them all, check back to
previous chapter walkthroughs, as well as The City itself. Many collectibles in the game are not found
within the story chapters.
Now that you have all the collectible loot items this chapter has to offer, exit through the east door. Put a
Rope Arrow into the anchor beam above. Jump to the ropes and then to the platform nearby. Keep on
moving south, dropping through the floor and heading toward your objective.
Objective 4: Follow Erins Trail
All you have to do is follow the objective markers on your screen. There are many Graven, but they are all
frozen in time. Just walk past them until you reach Erin.
Objective 5: Get Close to Erin
To complete this, you need to sneak up behind Erin. As long as you Crouch it should be no trouble at all.
If you approach from the front shell move to another part of the room. Once you approach her, touch her
shoulder to advance.
Objective 6: Follow Erins Trail
Now that youve upset Erin, shes turned all the frozen Graven into Freaks. Re-member, you can sneak
right past them as long as you crouch and dont make any noise. Head toward the objective. If any Freaks
get in your way, take them out with a Fire Arrow to the head.
Objective 7: Steal the Primal Energy from Erin
By far the easiest objective in the chapter. Walk up to Erin and shell knock you backwards, kicking off the
Final Boss: Primal Erin.
Final Boss: Primal Erin
This isnt as easy as defeating the Thief-Taker General, but its not too hard if you play your cards right.
There are three pieces of Primal Stone in the room, but Erin is looking for you and releasing massive

blasts of energy. When she re-leases this energy, there needs to be cover between you and her. If the
energy blast hits you, it will cause massive damage.
As soon as you can move, sprint to your left and take cover. The first piece of Primal Stone is to the
northeast. Just after Erin releases and energy blast, move to grab it and immediately take cover. Erin will
approach you after you get the first piece, wait for her to move away and head south. The second piece is
on a walkway on the south side of the room. Grab the piece of stone and take cover. The last one you
need is just to the northwest, below the walkway youre on. Drop down below to collect the third piece,
ending the Final Boss: Primal Erin battle.
That concludes the story aspect of the game. If youve been following along, you will now have all of the
collectible loot items found in the games chapters.
By completing this chapter, players will unlock The Dawns Light trophy or achievement, depending on
what platform you play the game on.

At the start of the job listen to the conversation between the Eelbiter and the civilian. The civilian will walk
towards you and its then your time to decide what to do. Theres no reward for not hurting Eelbiters so
feel free to bump them off any way you want. Whatever you decide, wed recommend picking their pockets
before you deal with them to complete the Thieving Challenges.
Look out for broken glass on the floor that will give away your position, and approach the Eelbiter on his
left. He has two purses, so grab them both and either leave him alone or knock him out. Its important to
note that the Moral Victorytrophy/achievement only applies to the chapters of the main game, so you
wont be punished for knocking this guy out. Remember that the Kill or Knockout Thieving
Challenge requires you harm someone, so dont act the pacifist if you want to unlock that.
Head down the alley to the right, climb the window and loot the room. Ignore the back entrance of the
shop. Theres a Poppy near the cart which you can take, then climb the crates by the door and head up to
a small room. Switch the lights off and wait for an Eelbiter. Sneak behind him, pick his pocket and knock

him out/leave him alone. If you leave this Eelbiter alone youll be playing hide and seek with this guy while
youre in the residence making it much harder. Loot the next two rooms and if youve left the Eelbiter alone
make sure you use the vent to hide when he comes back around.
Youll find The Court of Montonessi (3/12) Guilt Has Black Wings on the wall which you can prise off
with the Razor Tool. Whiteridges Duty (1/6) The Statuesque Lady is behind the lock on the night
stand in the bedroom. Once youve got your goods move to the basement and ignore the main floor
entirely. Theres a guard down here so pick his pockets and knock him out. Pick the lock on the sae and
grab the Client Loot (2/8) The Mechanical Hand, then head to the main floor.
Objective 2: Escape Alfonsos Attire
Youll find the last Eelbiter smacking the tailor about so wait from him to beat him unconscious then sneak
behind him and pick his pockets. Loot the room and exit through the front door, back to the place where
you started. Job done.
Thief Walkthrough Client Job 2: Happy Medium
In this section you can complete the Remain Undetected and two Combat Takedown Thieving

Also, if you are detected at any point you will fail the job. Complete the job and you earn the Remain

Firstly, listen to Lenny the Drunks conversation and remain unseen. Hes so drunk he wont detect you so
dont worry if he gets all up in your grill, you dont need to hide from him.
Objective 2: Open the Gate for Lenny the Drunk
Grab the loot and vault the wall to open the gate for Lenny. You now have to guide the drunk through the
streets.
Objective 3: Keep Lenny Moving to Reach His Hideout
Lenny begins rambling with two guards, so this is your cue to quickly loot the surrounding area. Like most
drunks he takes his time so dont rush. To the right of Lenny is a valve which youll need to turn, so wait
until a guard is distracted by lighting his smoke. Boom. Turn the light off and follow Lenny.
When he starts flirting with a woman sneak to the west and use the Wrench Tool to grab the City
Heritage Plagues (11/16) South Quarter Sluices. See that other valve? Turn it to give Lennys
sweetheart a wash and youre on your way once again. Pick the next locked gate for Lenny and hes
home at his hideout.
Objective 4: Steal the Skull
Keep away from Lenny while he shouts to his fellow gang members and sneak in when everyone moves
inside. Once the (long) conversation is over sneak up behind the Eelbiter and knock him out and then
move on to Lenny and give him the same treatment. Loot the main floor and collect Whiteridges Duty
(2/6) The Constant Lady from the chest.
Theres an Eelbiter in the basement, so take him down with a Broadhead Arrow to the knee and finish him
off. Thats youre first Combat Takedown. Grab all the loot and head back through the main floor and up
the stairs.
Use the same trick on the second Eelbiter shoot him in the knee and club him with the Blackjack. Thats
your Combat Takedown challenge complete. Youll also findClient Loot (4/8) The Talking Skull here.
Objective 5: Return to the City

Want to Steal the Automatons Voice Box and complete all four Thieving Challenges? Read on

Youll need to bring lots of Broadhead Arrows for this job, as well as your A game. Garret has

the Automatons Voice Box.

Remain Undetected 350 G
1 Environmental Exploit 100 G
Headshot 3 Threats 85 G
Lift All Loot Items 215 G
You must complete Chapter 3: Dirty Secrets to unlock this client job from Ector.
Objective 1: Steal the Automatons Voice Box
You wont be able to complete the Thieving Challenges without hurting somebody in this, so dont be a
hippy. Remember your actions in Client Jobs has no effect on the Moral Victory trophy/achievement.
Climb up onto the balcony and listen in to the conversation between Perry and his guard. Wait for Perry to
move inside and then take out the guard with a Broadhead Arrow headshot. Take out the pesky caged
dog with another arrow and then shoot down the suspended crate overhead, unlocking
the Environmental Exploit Thieving Challenge. If you dont take the dog out first youll fail the Remain
Undetected challenge.
Jump down, loot the surrounding area and drop into the basement. Use Focus to see the basement is
trapped. Loot away, but dont go near the locked chest at this point.
Head half way up the stairs and youll see two guards talking. When one walks away, take out the other
with a Broadhead Arrow headshot and quickly turn the lights out in the room (the switch is on the right
hand side of the wall). When the second guard comes back, hit him with another headshot and youll
complete the Headshot 3 Threats challenge. Its tricky, but worth it.
Now you want to head upstairs to Perrys residence where youll find him snoozing in his chair. Dont
move on before knocking him out though, just to be on the safe side. Use your wire cutter to hack the
control box on the bedroom wall and loot the room. Youll find Whiteridges Duty (3/6) The Observant
Lady in a drawer. Now head back to the basement.

Ransack the shop to find The Court of Montonessi (7/12) The Grace of Insecurityon the wall and do
over the wall safe to complete your objective of stealing Client Loot (6/8) The Voice Box.
Objective 2: Escape the Pawnshop

You have now completed Silence is Golden!

Thief Walkthrough Client Job 4: The Carnal Connoisseur

In this Client Job youll complete Aerial Takedown and No Kills or Knockouts challenges, as well as walk
away with the Octopuss.

In this job you cant complete all Thieving Challenges in one play-through, but dont worry, as well show
you how to Remain Undetected, complete an Aerial Takedown and Lift All Loot Items. You can also easily
complete No Kills of Knockouts on your second play-through.
Thieving Challenges
Remain Undetected 225 G
No Kills or Knockouts 115 G
1 Aerial Takedown 70 G
Lift All Loot Items 290 G
You Must complete Chapter 4: A Friend in Need to unlock this client job from Vittori.
Objective 1: Steal the Octopuss
Head upstairs when the job begins and youll see an anchor beam when you look outside. Fire a rope
arrow to the beam and then check out the guard below. You can leave him alone or pop him with a
Broadhead arrow. Anyway, leap to the rope so you can easily get into the house.
Once inside loot the room and head through the door into the bedroom. Loot again, but be wary that the
servant doesnt see you while hes talking to the collector. Avoid the servant when he moves (or knock him
out) and climb out the east window.

Theres a poppy on the ledge, so grab it before dropping into the alley. Pickpocket the guard, loot the
surrounding area and jump back on the rope and climb up through the same window.
Head downstairs to loot the area and the two tables. Behind the east door is a guard, so take out the
lights with a Blunt arrow, sneak into his room and loot, loot, loot. Hes standing in the way of some loot, so
distract him with a bottle to get him out the way and pick his pocket when he walks off. This guy is a
chump but hes quick, so use the razor tool to lift The Court of Montonessi (9/12) What Is There
Cannot Be Seen.
Theres plenty to loot on this floor so make sure you take out lights with blunt arrows and take your time to
avoid the guard. Theres another guard downstairs in the cellar.
Now head back upstairs and out of the eat window. See those torches on the east wall? Hit them with
water arrows and drop behind the guard and help yourself to his pockets. Climb the crates nearby and
work your way clockwise around the yard to the cellar stairs. This is the best spot for an Aerial Takedown,
but bear in mind there are two guards on patrol so use distractions where possible to remain hidden.
To take out the guard in the cellar hit the lights. Loot the cellar quickly before he turns them back on.
When hes back on his patrol pattern look for two switches on the west wall painting. The combination for
the safe is 8-1-2 but be aware this guy is persitant so you may have to enter one number at a time to keep
out of his way.
When the panel shifts and reveals a hidden doorway, enter and close the door behind you. Inside youll
find loads of loot, including Client Loot (7/8) Octopuss.
Objective 2: Escape the Collectors Lodge
Switch on focus and youll see a loose brick in the wall. Press it and a secret room opens up. Head inside
and loot the place, taking Whiteridges Duty (4/6) The Virtuous Lady, giving you all three of the
jobs Collectible Loot Items.
Then just make your escape. Take you time if you left everyone alive, backtracking until you end up
through the bathroom window and onto the ledge where you started. All done.

Thief Walkthrough Client Job 5: Sideshow Attraction

In this walkthrough we help you distract four Threats and return Ysabella to Vittori.

In this job Garret must sneak into the Watch Station, remain undetected and perform four takedowns.

Remain Undetected 350 G
Distract 4 Threats 200 G
4 Combat Takedowns 110 G
Lift All Loot Items 300 G
You must complete Chapter 5: The Forsaken to unlock this client job from Vittori.
Objective 1: Free Ysabella
There are two clear choices to start this job enter from the loading area or head to the underground
passage below Market Street. Well begin with the loading area and remember youll need to be
aggressive in this job in order to get all the Thieving Challenges.
The Distract 4 Threats challenge is easy. Youll see an Eelbiter trying to crack a safe. Just fire four blunt
arrows around him to distract him and its yours. Job done.
Now sneak up on the fool and steal his three money purses. Alternatively use a Sawtooth arrow and your
blackjack to get one of four combat takedowns and grab his money when hes on the floor. Loot the room
and dont forget the wall safe the Eelbiter was trying to crack.
Head north and youll soon come across three more Eelbiters. One patrols the balcony, another is trying
to open a door and the third is standing in the north doorway. Take out the balcony guard first as no one
will hear him go down when you hit him with an Broadhead arrow and your blackjack.
Now the guy to the west messing with the door. Look out for broken glass, pick his pocket and crack him
with the blackjack. Thats your third combat takedown.
go through the locked west door that the Eelbiter was messing with and loot the room. Head back to the
north room where youll see the other Eelbiter talking to a caged bird. Wait for him to move to the west
wall before doing the Broad arrow/blackjack combo takedown. Thats it, youve completed the 4 Combat
Takedowns challenge.

Loot the room and head down the stairs to the east. There are another two Eelbiters to contend with here,
so wait for them to split up and take one out at a time, making sure to hide the first body if you want to
remain undetected. Loot the area and takeCity Heritage Plaques (15/16) Watch Station off the wall.
Go through the east door and youll see an Eelbiter searching the room. Blackjack that fool, loot the room
including the chest for Whiteridges Duty (5/6) The Porcelain Lady. That is the last of the Collectible
Loot Items on this job.
Now you need to head to the basement where youll find the cells make sure you take the key from the
upstairs office. Head left in the basement, open a cell and youll find a poppy. There are Eelbiters in the
cells but no loot so you only really need to find Ysabella. Her cell is on the west side.
Objective 2: Escape the Watch Station with Ysabella
Unlock Ysabellas cell and head towards the exit. Two Eelbiters will head to the basement so prepare
yourself and take them out with headshots from the Broad arrow. Its the most efficient way.
Grab Ysabella and carry her out of the cell to the door to the north. Pick the lock and smell freedom.

Thief Walkthrough Client Job 6: Heartbroken

The final Client Job only has one Thieving Challenge but its no walk in the park. Let us help even the
odds.

are a series of puzzles that need completeing in order to complete the job and Lift All Loot Items.
Thieving Challenges
Lift All Loot Items 250 G

Objective 1: Steal the Automatons Heart

Theres no need to sneak around in this job as there are no threats. But do take your time, as Clockwise
has set up some elaborate puzzles. Firstly, dont be tempted to push any buttons or youll find the whole
looting process very difficult.
Follow our instructions, were here for you.
Go through every door on the first floor and loot every room including the Barons bust (oo-er!).
Remember, dont push any buttons yet. Loot the first floor, the second floor and the basement. Go through
doors but no touching buttons. Look out forWhiteridges Duty (6/6) The Burnished Lady in the bedroom
on the second floor. Use Focus check every room to ensure you havent missed anything and take all
documents as you wont solve the puzzle later.
