Supports several database servers (E.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Database interface can be used in many applications and SCADAs (Indusoft WebStudio,
self-made PHP application, etc.)
Supports message parsing for event, data and history messages
Supports single and group message sending
Supports watchdog-message sending, if a value in used database hasnt changed in
certain time
Uses phone book to prevent misuse from unknown phone numbers

FTP File Parser Binary file reader for Web Studio

Reads binary files from a folder and saves history data into a FTP history data database
File receiving is usually done by some FTP-server (E.g. GuildFTPd)

Reads events, reports and history messages from SMS Interface database
Handles report messages and sends alarms depending on maximum/minimum values
Delivers alarm messages forward as a group message
Saves history data into a separated history database
User interface supports several possibilities for configuring databases

Begining to develop GSM / GPRS applications

It is highly recommended that you read all the relates documentations before
moving to develop the final SCADA application. Neither of the demo applications are
meant to be final SCADA application, but only work as simple demonstrations.

Install Web Studio SCADA from Indusoft Web Studio CD

Install Interface Database:
DB2SMS_PostGreSQL_Installation_and_configuration_UM_v101_eng
Install dotNetFramework (if you dont have it alteady installed)
Install DB2SMS (GSM-SMS driver):
DB2SMS_UM_v102_eng
Install FTP_file_parser (GPRS-FTP driver) if you want to use GPRS.

Install DB2SMS IWSDemo:
