Our Project name is "Automatic Dust and waste collector and segregator".

In this,
we will design and construct an automatic dust and waste collector machine that
will help in road cleaning,footpath cleaning,commercial areas cleaning such as m
arkets,offices etc.Then the segregation part will separate the dust and waste as
per their particle size,mass principle and magnetic properties.The segregation
is based on technique such as density,volume and adsorption principle and magne
tic properties.This method can collect any kind of dust,waste(including unused b
ottles or iron entities)and garbage.The machine will be of low cost and will inv
olve the principle of hydraulics and electronics for its operation.The mechanism
of machine is designed in such a way that a non skilled operator can easily ope
rate it.Operator will just have to operate the hydraulics controlled arms to col
lect waste.After collecting the waste,the machine will automatically dump the wa
ste into the required dumping chambers.

Purpose of proposing this project is to provide a simplest means which would hel
p in keeping city clean and reducing the manual labor and being economically fea
sible. Presently available dust collectors are obsolete, they don't have segrega
tors installed in it and are costly. Our machine will have a collector and segre
gator which will help us in collecting and recycling the Dust and garbage by sep
arating them itself at the time of collection.
Waste management is vast and topic of concern economically, this project is cost
effective since it reduces the money needed for segregation and make the whole
process organized. Handling of machine would be so easy that a less skilled work
er will be able to operate. It would travel through the lanes, roads, streets, f
ootpaths and other public interest areas to keep them clean and hygienic.

Design of our Machine is such that on the upper side,there will be two chambersone for plastic bottles,iron entities/unused papers and other will be for garbag
e(wet soil,dust,human excrete etc) which are separated by a wall.Collection of d
ust will be done by a centrifugal pump which will create suction in the chamber
and thus with the help of pipe,dust can be collected.Collected dust will then pa
ss through the sets of air filters of different particle size which will segrega
te unwanted particles from the dust.This system will require a single operator f
or operation.The operator will just have to control the collector arms which wil
l be governed by hydraulics and servomotors to collect the waste.After collectin
g the waste,the machine will automatically dump the waste into the required dump
ing chambers with the help of microprocessors,sensors and servomotors from where
it will be segregated with the help of Rollers,sieve and electromagnets and fil
ters.

1.In this machine,We will be using hydraulics to control the horizontal and vert
ical motion of collector arms and servomotors for angular motions of the arms.
2.Motion sensor,displacement sensor,position sensors along with microprocessors
will be used to automate the collector arms to dump the waste into the required
chamber and then returning of arms to its initial location.
3.Centrifugal pump will be used to create suction to collect dust.
4.Sieve,Filters,Electromagnets,rollers will be used to segregate dust,garbage,pl
astic bottles and iron entities.
5.Battery source will be needed to run the above mentioned equipments.
