CF003
Cooling
The following settings can be carried out for the cooling operating mode.
10
Active: The machine is designed as process reversal (P) and the cooling function is used. During
the cooling demand through the cooling circuits, or through an external demand, the heat pump is
operated in process reversal and a cold reservoir is administered.

Passive + Active: Both passive cooling via a cooling heat exchanger and active cooling through
process reversal of the heat pump is possible. (see diagram Passive+Active cooling in the assembly

Radiator: The function of this setting corresponds to the floor function however, as standard, has higher set
limits and heating curves.
Unregulated: The heating circuit is designed as a pump heating circuit. The heating flow temperature is
controlled by switching the heat pump on and off. By definition, this leads to considerable temperature fluctuations in the heating circuit.
With the constant circuit it is only possible to influence the circuit by the room thermostat. There is no
flow temperature adjustment by the room sensor.
HSx02

Automatic: If heating circuit A has been configured as an automatic heating circuit, the changeover of the
heating side cooling valve will be taken from it. In the case of heating circuits B-G, instead of Automatic the
indication "Like heating circuit A" appears. If heating circuit A is in cooling mode, any other heating circuit
wishing to cool may carry out the cooling control. If heating circuit A is in heating mode, all other heating circuits
may also only heat.
Only heat: This heating circuit is hydraulically only suitable for heating. No cooling demand is generated from
this heating circuit.
Only cooling: The selected circuit is only prepared hydraulically for cooling. This circuit does not generate any
heating demand.

function is inverted internally to ensure that any cooling circuit demand is deleted if the thermostat is closed.
KNX-room unit: A KNX- room unit is connected for the respective heating circuit.

Depending on the respective flow meter for measuring heat volume, the number of impulses per litre of
flow must be entered.
Sensor adjustment
In order to measure the volume of heat correctly, a sensor adjustment of the respective flow and return
sensors must be carried out.
Commissioning
When selecting the Sensor Adjustment parameter, the charging pump is operated without switching on
the compressor. This enables the same temperature to be set on the displayed sensors after a short
period (ca. 5 min).
If the same temperature does not set between the sensors, the sensors must be matched to the HGL
sensors via the adjustable Offset. Whilst doing this, the HGL and the flow sensor should not be corrected
downwards.
The sensor adjustment must be carried out separately for heating and cooling.
In order to set the Offset parameter for cooling, you must switch between heating and cooling using the
right-hand selection key and the arrow keys.

THE
P OWE R FAM I L Y
The cascade control is possible for all heat pumps featuring Navigator control. The always cascade consists
of a master control and 1-4 slave controls that are connected with each other via CAN bus. The cascade
stages are addressed according to need for heating or cooling via the master control. Determination of need
is executed by the master control only.
5 . 1 . 1 . Ca s c a d e c o n f i g u r a t i o n
Provided a cascade control is used, this needs to
be set in the commissioning assistant during commissioning. As soon as parameter CA000 has been
set to 'yes', the menu item 'cascade system' may be
selected in the settings.
A cascade may only be set if at least
two heat pumps are connected via
CAN bus!

SC001
Solar diagram
This indicates whether a solar system is controlled via the Navigator control. The parameter SC001
configures the function intended for the solar system.
10
Settings:
Hygienik - only used for process water preparation
11
12
Hygienik + buffer + brine - for process water, heating, and WQ supply (SSL)
13
As soon as a solar function has been set in the parameters, the menu item solar control becomes visible in the menu settings. The solar control menu item
is used to make the most important solar settings.

Par. No.
Name
Description
SC004
If the collector pre-run temperature < collector min. temperature, then the solar charge is cancelled
/ not authorised.
SC005
Indicates the max. collector temperature. If this is exceeded, the collector circulation pump shuts
down.
SC008
Indicates the max. temperature of the heat source during supply of the brine circuit heat pumps.
SC012
SC009
Hyst. buffer
The collector temperature must be greater than the buffer temperature by the hysterese heating
buffer so that a buffer charge is possible.
SC010
Hyst. hygienik
The collector temperature must be greater than the current hygienik temperature by the hysterese
hygienik so that a hygienik charge is possible.
SC120
Impulse solar
The 'impulse solar' parameter is used to set how many impulses per litre are given off by the flow
counter in the solar module. The number of impulses per litre may be read on the flow counter.
SC124
This parameter indicates the min. speed of the solar charge pump.
SC128
SC132
This parameter indicates the min. speed of the heat source pump for supplying the heat source
circulation of the heat pump.
