What is your favorite high school memory?

Last year at state dance when we all stayed up
late, told funny stories, and made up fun games.
What is your favorite part about Rock Port
High School? How much the staff cares about
the students and everything the school offers us.
What is your advice to underclassmen?
Dont let the little things bring you down because
in the end they wont matter. Just work hard and
always keep you dreams close.
What or who has shaped your identity? Its
hard to pinpoint certain things, but I think my
experiences and all the people in my life have
helped shape my identity.
Where do you plan to go to college? Major?
California State Polytechnic University and major
in forensic psychology with a minor in Spanish.

A role model is a person whose
behavior, example, or success is
or can be looked up to by others,
especially by younger people
(dictionary.com). How you represent yourself towards others
and even how you respect yourself can shape your personality
and work ethic, which in turn
affects your attitude towards
making other people happy.
A persons chosen role models
may have a considerable impact
on his or her career opportunities and choices. Role models
show significant effects on female students self-confidence
in pursuing careers in science,
technology, engineering, and
mathematical fields (Social
Psychological and Personality
Science). Parent role models
are also significant in influencing ones values and career aspirations.
My role model is Dayle Corrin
Davis. I look up to her because
she is such an inspiration to us
all. She is a very good student.
She will never let you down.
Dayle loves to make people
happy and always puts everyone in a good mood. She is such
a great leader in Mass Media.
Did you know that she puts together these wonderful Blue Jay
Corners that you lovely people
read and look at every week?
Yes, Dayle is a hard working
woman that deserves much respect. Next time you see her,
give her a round of applause because she put this Blue Jay Corner together. That is why Dayle
Davis is my role model. She is
such a lovely woman.
