Fomento del aprendizaje. Aprender a ensear sin las ayudas visuales, sin la pizarra y dejar
de ver, si los alumnos toman notas, tienen caras de cansancio o aburrimiento, responden de
manera inmediata o retardada a preguntas, requiere sin duda de una postura diferente.
Todos esos apoyos a los cuales recurre el profesor en su tarea diaria y permiten modificar
las estrategias cuando la educacin es presencial, ya no estn y en sustitucin est el
monitor de la computadora y eventualmente una cmara de televisin. Ahora el profesor
requiere observar de otra manera, aprender a detectar los mensajes ocultos de los alumnos,
a travs del lenguaje escrito (Moore & Kearsley, 1996). La naturaleza de la enseanza y el
papel del instructor en educacin a distancia difiere de la tradicional en el saln de clases,
atendiendo generalmente, a un grupo pequeo de estudiantes que interactan con un
contenido diseado por otro especialista. En este sentido el no ver la manera en que los
