Procedure for using the program

1 Figures in red is the input data while calculated values are in the blue colour
2 Press the "To Program" button for shifting to program
3 Press the "Press" button for evaluation.

Assumption made in the program


1 The arrangement of reinforcement is such that all the reinforcement is of same size.
However the equivalent size of reinforcement can be used.
2 Effective length of the column should be calculated and inputted manually.
3 All the load value shall be factored
4 If the column is not braced the values of factored moments shall be inputted in the
commented cells
5 If the column is braced the values of factored moments shall be inputted in the cells
other than commented cells.
6 Computation is done as per SP:16-1987.
