4 Pillars of the Kingdom (Asaph Borba)

1. Intercession - Ephesians 6:18, "With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the
Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the
saints."
As you worship you see the world as God sees it. You are then able to intercede for the
needs around you. It leads outward not inward.
Alone, together, in the secret, in the congregation, spiritual and physical (cities and
countries)
a)Authority in intercession - Matthew 16:18, "And I also say to you that you are Peter,
and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades shall not overpower it."
b) To loosen and to bind - Mat. 16:19, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of
heaven; and whatever you shall bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and
whatever you shall loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."
c) Ask with Faith - Mark 11:22-24, "And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in
God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,'
and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be
granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask believe that you
have received them, and they shall be granted you."
2. Sowers - Matthew 13:3-9, "And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying,
"Behold, the sower went out to sow; and as he sowed, some seeds fell beside the road, and
the birds came and devoured them. And others fell upon the rocky places, where they did
not have much soil; and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil.
But when the sun had risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they
withered away. And others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them
out. And others fell on the good soil, and yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty,
and some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear."
There must be a full commitment to sowing the seed of the Kingdom all the time.
1. The seed belongs to God - Isaiah 55:11, "So shall My word be which goes forth from
My mouth; It shall not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And
without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." God makes the seed prosper.
2. Our life gives authority - Our quality of life is reproduced as we sow the seed of the
word. By the fruits you can tell what kind of seed was used.
3. Time of germination - Each seed has a special time for it to sprout into a plant. God
has His own time of operating in each life.
4. Co-participants - cooperators with God.

3. Harvest - John 4:35, " Do not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the
harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white
for harvest."
1. Lift up your eyes - Take your focus away from yourselves, away from the ground.
2. See the fields - Those who sow shall reap.
3. Seed growth is the result of Gods faithfulness.
4. Commitment - Be committed to the harvest.
4. Care
1. Deliverance - Matthew 6:13, "...And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us
form evil."
a) repentance - Acts 2:38, " And Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let each of you be
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit."
b) confession - I John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness."
c) forgiveness - Mark 11:25, "And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have
anything against anyone; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your
transgressions."
d) restitution - Matthew 6:12, "...And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our
debtors."
2. Edification - live the life of Jesus
3. Integration - I Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4.
4. Send out - Matthew 28:19,20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to
observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the
age."
