V. COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course is designed to provide basic information about the early development of representative vertebrates, processes and principles.
VI. COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:
1. Develop understanding and appreciation of the scientific attitude that they can actively cultivate, hence, will liberate them from the bondage of superstitions and will
give them a sound basis for better judgment;
2. Cultivate the habit of using the scientific method in solving problems of life;
3. Communicate knowledge on the nature of the universe and mans relation to it;
4. Appreciate the work and contribution of great scientists; and
5. Develop boundless interest and curiosity
