Firm was a CPA/Tax Practice looking to enter the investment advisory business. As a consultant, met with senior
partners to try to get their business. Was hired as an investment advisor to manage client portfolios and actively
manage mutual funds. After two years was promoted to the national office to serve as chief reviewer of financial
plans and life insurance applications along with leading advisors and while working closely with clients providing
wealth management following liquidity events.

SENIOR DIRECTOR, 2009 2013


Developed and implemented a new financial planning process using a client-centered approach. Standardized
the financial planning tools and selected software to support the process. Collaborated with other offices to roll out
training, piloting the tool and process with a group of highly skeptical advisors. In six months, the trained team
surpassed the assets under management of the untrained team. Due to results achieved, was given a leadership
role supervising 16 advisors, and the process was rolled out firm-wide.

Oversaw sales process and quality of advice programs resulting in growth of Assets under Management (AUM)
from under $1B to over $4B in a five-year period without growth in the number of advisors.

Achieved high retention of clients even during recession.

Sustained an average turnover rate of advisors of less than 20% as compared with industry averages of greater

Based on detailed market analysis, obtained approval to expand list of investment vehicles including
