PROPOSAL FOR ENHANCING COST-BENEFIT FOR INVIAS PLATE

DESIGN FOOTPRINTS
Catherine, G. Willmar, T. Felipe, P.
Uniminuto, faculty of engineering, civil engineering

Abstract
Improving the design of the structural element (footprint plate) used in this document, is
profiled to reduce their economic pattern and in turn benefit conferred on the citizens.
Thinking in vial activity of tertiary roads with slopes greater than 10%, is intended to modify
the model building approach taking into account current resistive physical composition and
giving this a transformation in the use of new reinforced concrete mixtures using crushed
recycled materials resulting rubble masonry.

Introduction
Due to the steep topography that presents
the Andean region in Colombia special
traffic conditions generated by the way,
these conditions do turn that rural residents
have drawbacks in terms of pulling their
vehicles considering that generally tracks
tertiary communicating the villages and
hamlets in the municipalities have flush
that offer very little traction so disrupted
the material and the high absorption
capacity of liquids, the national
government has methodologies for the
conservation and maintenance of tertiary
roads called
Caminos para la
prosperidad" which seeks to solve the
problem through structural elements such
as plate tracks which have technical
specifications given by INVIAS; This
