Congratulations!

SCVCS is proud to recognize

Most Improved
Student of the Month:

two students monthly for attaining Student of the Month status:

Nicholas B.

one student for overall Student

of the Month and one for Most
Improved Student. SCVCS
teachers and advisors recommend students for this honor.
Each month we will have vari-

ous prizes for our winners! This

month we will be sending out a
certificate to each student
nominated and our winners will
receive a $10 Target gift certificate.
Congratulations to all of our
nominees and winners!

Nicholas works hard in Marketing II review-

ing course concepts and completing assignments in a timely manner. He has improved
his grade in Marketing II and with a couple
of sections left in the course, Im sure he will
continue to exhibit the same determination
and focus to finish the semester strong! Keep
working hard Nicholas and thank you for improving your grade in Marketing II!
-Ms. Howze

Testing
Information!

Are you in your 3rd year of high school? If so, mark your calendars for
the new South Carolina state mandated assessment!
The ACT and Work Keys will be administered on April 28th (ACT) and
April 29th (Work Keys) at ten sites across the state. All students who are
in their third year of high school, regardless of grade classification,
are required to test.
This is a great opportunity for each of you to take a test for free that
would normally cost you between $40 and $60 per test. These test results will also provide you with much more information regarding college or work force readiness than any other test previously administered by the State of South Carolina.
More information will be coming to you from your teachers and your
advisor. Mark your calendar to be prepared for this opportunity!
