People learn language to communicate with others in another part of the

world. However, there are of languages in this world and some of them are not easy
to learn. This is why we communicate with others through universal language. While
its clear universal language bring obvious benefits to people in the world, it is also
true to say it may bring advantages as well.
There is no doubt that there are significant advantages of a universal language.
First, a universal language makes people communicate more easily. For example,
people from china would be easier to talk with people from Germany without using
either Germany or Chinese language because because they don't have to know
common language that isn't their native one. Another example is from my experience.
I had a friend from China in Jakarta last year but, she already went back to her
country. I didn't know how to speak her language because it was so hard and I had to
learn for a very long time. Luckily, we know how to speak English and we just used
it. In addition, a universal language makes us to focus only to learn one language and
many hours will be spared in our lives since it takes a long time to learn one
language. For example we have to learn grammatical structure of one language is
very hard to do especially each country's grammar rules are different from each other.
Furthermore, a universal language would avoid many misunderstandings (by having
different language to use) not only for every conversation between friends but also for
business conversation that takes important information inside it
Despite the advantages, there are disadvantages for having a universal
language in our life. Although a universal language makes people communicate more
easily, but it makes a country loss identity because language represents countrys
culture as well as tradition and history of the country. If the countrys language will
be replaced with a universal language then the culture wills eventually fall and
disappear. In addition, the country will lost one of the value that attracts tourist to
interest with their country. Secondly, a universal language is hard to create.
Everybody must understand the language and it must something that people in the

world agree to use. Language is very hard to create and it takes a very long time to
make a language like we use in the daily conversation such as English or Indonesian.
This language comes from Latin or Ancient Java then people enhanced it from time to
time.
In conclusion, a universal language makes people communicate easily thus it
makes the bond between people in this world get stronger. But, having different
languages are also good because it give this world different cultures and identity to
each country that will attract people from different country to learn about the country
and the other cultures as well.
