1. Printer setting
1.1

Cable specifications (SRP-270, SRP-350, SRP-370/372)

Use the serial cable that satisfies following specifications.

If you dont use incompatible cable, the printer may not work properly.

Epson compatible cable mode

IFA-S type and IFB-S type have Dip switch on the bracket

Set the Dip switch on the interface card as following;

Bixolon Samsung compatible mode

Use the serial cable that satisfies following specifications.

If you dont use incompatible cable, the printer may not work properly

Epson compatible cable mode

IFC-S Type is compatible with both Bixolon Samsung and Epson cable specifications.

Windows driver installation

Double click Driver Installer file.
Click Next Button.

3) Click Install Button.

4) Select operating system type.

5) Select Serial interface(port) type.

6) Click Next button three times.

* If you see the below dialog, please click Continue Anyway
The printer and driver will work properly and they will not affect to the host.

2.4 Printer seting

You can change the baud rate of the printer by setting dip switch of the printer
Refer to the dip switch setting of each model at Appendix A
After changing dip switch setting, please turn off and turn on the printer to affect new setting.
Perform self-test to check if new baud rate was set properly.
In accordance to the printer setting, set the Windows driver properly.

2.4 Windows driver setting

Start> Printers and Faxes

Click printer icon with right button of mouse and select Property

3) Click Port and select proper port

4) Click Configure port

7) Set the baud rate and other options same as the printer setting (refer to the self-test receipt)
and click OK

Click General tab and press Print Test page to see if the printer works properly.
