PROJECT WORK
Graphical Authentication
Masters Project, 2011

I have developed and evaluated a new graphical authentication mechanism called Facelock using PHP,
JAVASCRIPT and MySQL database.
Facelock system is based on four-stage authentication system. At each stage, a challenge set of 16 images
arranged in 4x4 matrixes is shown. Each challenge set consists of one target image (images of celebrities
selected by the user during registration) and fifteen distractor images.
In Facelock system, a user gets authenticated by selecting the target image at each stage and selection of
distractor image at any stage will lead to authentication failure.

In this project, we try to overcome the shoulder surfing attacks (security issue) and the memorability issues
(usability issue) without affecting each other.

V-MAIL
B.Tech Project, 2009

I have developed a project named V-MAIL along with my team of three members from RENAISSANCE
SOFTLABS in Telecom Domain. This project is developed using Java, Voice XML and ORACLE
database.
Interaction with the application is done via a VoIP phone.

mailing features such as listening mails (text mails are converted into voice), sending mails (as a voice
message), new mail notifications and deleting of mails.
