Once upon a time there lived a lion in a forest.

There came a mouse and it started

to play on the lion. Suddenly the lion got up with anger and looked for those who
disturbed its nice sleep. The mouse requested the lion to forgive it. The lion felt pity
and left it. The mouse ran away. On another day, the lion was caught in a net by a
hunter. The mouse came there and cut the net. Thus it escaped. There after, the
mouse and the lion became friends.
Moral : A friend in need is a friend indeed.

There was a lion who feared nothing except the crowing of cocks. A chill would go
down his spine whenever he heard a cock crowing. One day he confessed his fear to
the elephant, who was greatly amused. How can the crowing of a cock hurt you?
he asked the lion. Think about it! Just then a mosquito began circling the
elephants head, frightening him out of his wits. If it gets into my ear Im doomed!
he shrieked, flailing at the insect with his trunk. Now it was the lions turn to feel
amused.
Moral: If we could see our fears as others see them we would realize that most of
our fears make no sense!

One day a rabbit was boasting about how fast he could run. Much to the rabbit's
surprise, the turtle challenged him to a race. As the race began, the rabbit raced
way ahead of the turtle, just like everyone thought. The rabbit got to the halfway
point and could not see the turtle anywhere. Even if the turtle passed him, he would
be able to race to the finish line ahead of him. The rabbit slept longer than he had
thought and woke up. He could not see the turtle anywhere! He went at full-speed
to the finish line but found the turtle there waiting for him.
Moral: never underestimate the weakest opponent.

Once a rich merchants house was robbed. The merchant suspected that the thief
was one of his servants. Birbal thought for a moment, then gave a stick of equal
length to all the servants of the merchant and said to them that the stick of the real
thief will be longer by two inches tomorrow. The next day, one of the servants had
his stick shorter by two inches. Birbal said, This is your thief, merchant. Later the
merchant asked Birbal, How did you catch him? Birbal said, The thief had already
cut his stick short by two inches in the night fearing that his stick will be longer by
two inches by morning.
Moral: Truth will always Prevail.

One fine day, Akbar lost his ring. When Birbal arrived in the court, he asked him to
find the ring. He said, the courtier who has a straw in his beard has your ring.
The courtier was shocked and immediately moved his hand over his beard. Birbal
noticed this act of the courtier. He immediately pointed towards the courtier and
said, Please search this man.He has the emperors ring. Akbar could not
understand how Birbal had Managed to find the ring. Birbal then told Akbar that a
guilty person is always scared.
Moral: A Guilty Conscience need No Accuser.

Mother mouse
Once upon a time there was a Baby Mouse and Mother Mouse. One day, Mother
Mouse decided to take Baby Mouse outside of their home. Waiting outside for them
was a huge ginger tomcat, licking its lips and waiting to eat them both up. "Mother,
Mother! What should we do?" Cried Baby Mouse, clinging to his mother's tail "Woof!
Woof! Bark bark bark!" She shouted, and the cat ran away as fast as he could. "And
that, my child, is why it is always best to have a second language." Said the mother
mouse.
Moral: Its always good to have a second language.
