Ans Thereshouldbeagroupoftwostudentsonlyforoneprojectreport.However,
consideringthesignificanceoftheresearchtopicorindispensabilityofthe
institute,inexceptionalcasetheinstitutemayallowonestudentoragroupof
threestudentsforoneproject.

Isitmandatorytobeassociated/workwithanyorganization/companyforCP?
Ans SincetheComprehensiveProjectisapartofResearch,itcanbeapartofany
specificorganisation/company/Industry.Butitisnotnecessarytoworkinthe
company/organisation.But,thestudentisexceptedtovisitthe
company/organisationfordatacollectionpurpose.

AspertheguidelinesmentionedintheMBASyllabus,isitmandatorytoidentify
theproblemofthecompany/industryandtrytosolveitasapartofCPlikein
engineeringcourses?
Ans InMBAcourse,problemsidentificationisnotmandatory.Butthestudentshaveto
findoutthegeneral/specificproblemsofcompany/organisation/industryand
givepracticalsuggestionstoovercometheseproblems.

Ans NO.ItisnotmandatoryforCPhowever,itismandatoryforSIP.

Ans Thestudentshavetoselecttopic,industry/company/organisationandsubmit
researchproposaltoallottedguidebytheInstituteandgetitapproved.

questionnaire/schedulefordatacollectionandstarttocollectthesecondarydata
andprimarydataaspertheguidanceofthefacultyguide.

facultyguidewillbethemembersofEvaluationCommittee.

Thecommitteewillreviewtheperformanceoftheworkdonebythestudentsatthe
endofthesemesterIII,aspertheschedule/datesuggestedbytheGTU.
WhatinformationisrequiredtosubmittoGTUattheendofSemIII?

Ans TheinternalmarksoftheCPallottedbytheEvaluationCommitteearetobe
submittedtotheGTUinhardcopyandthesamemarkshavetobesubmittedon
linealongwiththeinternalmarksofothersubjects.

WhatmarksdoesitcarryinSem.IIIandSemIV?
Ans InSemIII,therewillbeinternalEvaluationbyEvaluationCommitteeandwill
haveweightateof50marks,whichwillbethepartofcontinuousevaluationand
notcountedinSPI/CPI.
InsemesterIV,theEvaluationofCPwillbemadebythepanelcomprisingof
ExternalExamineraswellasInternalExaminer.Thefinalevaluationwillhave
weightageof200Marksdividedproportionatelyas70:30andwillbecountedin
CPI/SPI.
