The First International Symposium on Computing for Education (ISCE 2014) provides a venue for
researchers and Higher Education faculty and students to present innovative computing ideas and applications for effective delivery of instruction and technology-based education. The symposium topics include the following but not limited to:

The National Conference on Information Technology Education (NCITE 2014) is the 12th edition of
the national conference dedicated to the promotion of Information Technology Education which includes
Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information Systems. In this national conference,
researchers, faculty, administrators and IT practitioners are enjoined to promote the exchange of ideas,
approaches, developments, and research results in the following conference topics:

Multimedia Systems
Game Development
ISCE 2014 and NCITE 2014 are organized by the Philippine Society of I.T. Educators Foundation,
Inc. (PSITE).

PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished full research papers for presentation at ISCE 2014 and
NCITE 2014.
The Conference Review Policy requires that each submitted paper will be peer-reviewed and accepted
by at least two reviewers for inclusion in the conference program and CD-ROM proceedings. At least an
author of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The full papers are due by August 29, 2014. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by September
19, 2014 via e-mail. The final version of the paper is due on September 26, 2014. A maximum of fifteen
pages, including an abstract of up to 200 words will be allowed for each accepted paper in the
proceedings.
All manuscripts and slides must be submitted electronically, in PDF format and formatted using the ACM
templates available at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html.

Authors will be responsible for their travel and living expenses. The conference CD-ROM will contain the
full paper and slides of all research papers presented and will be distributed to all conference participants.

Please scan your validated deposit slip and register online (http://www.psite.ph/register) for confirmation
of your attendance. Please present your deposit slip to the convention secretariat during the onsite
registration for verification and issuance of official receipts.

ACCOMMODATIONS
A list of hotels and inns located near the conference venue with the corresponding rates and contact
details will be provided in a separate document.
Except for local live-in participants, authors and other conference participants are responsible for their
accommodations.
Each room reserved by PSITE for local live-in participants will be shared by four individuals. We will not
guarantee that participants from the same institution will be in the same room.
However, we encourage participants to contact the local organizers if PSITE can do prior arrangements
regarding room assignments. Contact details regarding room assignments will follow.
