My experience

This portfolio explains the experience gained in the human resource department as an
administrative assistant. At the beginning stage of appointment, employees were given basic
briefing about the companies human resources policies. Then a training was given by a senior
human resource administrative assistant. Employees were taught to file other employee related
documents. Besides that, trainees also experienced answering company related phone calls. A
task to transfer and distribute messages to employees in the company was given to test the ability
of new employees. Moving on, authorities were given to edit and update employees information
into the companies database. New employees were appointed to assist other new administrative
employees in the human resource department. At advanced stage, employees had have
experience in making logical decisions that could help in improving the human resource system
of the company. Besides that, experience in creating forms and human resources related
documents were also taught. Besides that, employees will also be given task to explain the
companies policies to any new other employees. Besides that, employees will also experiences
in handling recruitment task whenever there is a job vacancy. At this point, I was given the
authorities in posting job openings to various Medias. Other than that, employee experiences in
reviewing resumes of potential employees, fixing appointments with the director of the company,
fixing appointment with the candidates and also scheduling interviews. Besides that, experiences
in coordinating annual events such as annual meeting, companies annual dinner will also be
gained. Besides that, employees were also given authorities in dealing with any problems that is
related to the administrative department of the company.

My achievements
Being an administrative assistant had employees achieving a lot while in job. This achievement
gave a lot of respect and employees were able to believe in their selves as it gave confidence.
Employees may be selected as the employee of the month. Employees will have a chance to
receive this award if they were really dedicated in attending the work place on time. This
dedication may bring trust in manager who then decided to award employee with such an award.
Besides that, employee were also selected as the best assistant administrate during the annual
dinner function. This is because employees has always completed their task that was assigned to
without procrastinating. Employees who have also been a well-organized person which is also
one of the reasons this award will be given. Besides that, the manager of the organization might
give a salary increment if he was impressed with the dedication of the employee. Employees
have also been appointed as a senior administrative assistant as much experienced was gained in
this field. This has given the opportunity to guide new employees that are appointed to join the
administrative department. This has then lead into the next award which was the Mentoring and
guidance award. Employees were awarded the Best mentor award as was elected to mentor new
employees. Employee has always understand the needs and understanding of every new
employees as they are different individuals and work at their pace. Besides all of these, the best
achievement that employee could have gained is the trust and loyalty from all of the other fellow
employees. This will definitely give a very good job satisfaction.

Key development
During the working experience, employee have developed and enhanced many skills. For
example, the developing of good communication skills while working as an administrative
assistant. This is due to the task in approaching customers who are interested in dealing with the
company. Employee could understand the customers desire and needs while working in their
comfort zone.

Employee also have been dedicated to the company through the working

experience there. Dedication in here means the thought of wanting to lift up the companys
name; therefore employee have always tried to work out new ways to improve the human
resource administrative department by making sure that all information, events and documents
are organized carefully. Besides that, employees also make sure that that all tasks assigned are
completed in given time frame. Besides that, employee also have become a hardworking person
as they work hard to complete any difficult task that was assigned. Working hard to complete a
task has provided a good comeback as they became one of the trusted employees in the company.
Besides that, employees had chance in developing good team work skills with my other fellow
employees. This has also build up the leadership skills as all worked together to complete the
given tasks. This also helped while employee had to work with employees from other
departments. Other than that, employees have developed to become more independent to others.
They never depend on other admin staffs while completing my job. This is because employee
have learnt more while finding a correct way to complete job that was given.

My world in future
In upcoming years, the employee would like to manage a company of their own. Employee
would also like to develop the company into becoming a multinational corporation. Besides that
it would also be a dream of becoming an entrepreneur developing an own brand. In the future,
employee wants to become a leader who has no hesitant in guiding my employees as a good
foundation of a company is good leadership skills. Also in the future, employee would also like
to have a more or organized working schedule that would help in keeping a good focus in any
situation. Besides, this employee cum entrepreneur would also like to be more creative, and
flexible in dealing with complicated situations. Also, would like to gain many loyal customers
who are comfortable in making a deal with my company. Besides, developing the brand into
making it one of the most leading brands in the world is also another step in the future. This
entrepreneur would also introduce franchises where other managers could manage the brand with
full guidance. This would be an efficient way in the aim of making the company a multinational
corporation. In future the employee would be a person who is not afraid of risks of failing. The
fear of failing is a restriction that does not go with entrepreneurship. Developing good risk
management skills would also help in the future. Besides that, the employee would also like to
pursue a masters studies in related field and be a masters holder. This is because adding
knowledge would give a better understanding and experience in developing my company.

Personal achievement
Throughout the working experience in this field, the administrative employee have gained much
knowledge. For example, they have learned the importance of managing people. Managing
people could increase the productivity of a company. Besides that, employee have also
developed better organization skills where they could also could now manage other coworkers
who come in needing help. Besides that, the employee have better confidence in helping as they
have gained sufficient knowledge in this field. With that, employees also was appointed to train
newly appointed staff members in the human resource department. Other than that, through the
recruitment process employee have learned the way of sorting candidates who are qualified. This
has given a better understanding towards a persons character. Employee have also have learned
a better management of working under stressful and pressured situation. During the job duration,
employee was also able to learn on how manage their communication skills with the other
coworkers. The employee also have developed positive thinking to keep the employee
encouraged while going through a complicated situation. Employee was once given the award as
the employee of the month. This has definitely boosted the confidence of the employees and
they have learned to maintain their dedication towards the company. Other than that employee
have also developed better organization skills while going through the companys data.
Employee could now sort informations according to the correct orientation by distinguishing its
characteristics. This administrative employee have also learned to self motivate my self during
trouble times

Personality profile

This portfolio has also a role in emphasizing the personality of the employee that was developed
throughout the working experience. This personality has also helped them in the everyday living.
Being an admin has definitely made the employee a more positive person. Having that developed
is because employee had to go through many stressful situations while. I had to brace myself as I
was given the responsibility to do my job. Besides that, employee have also developed good
understanding and be a more team oriented person towards other fellow employees. Since,
employee have always believed that working in groups will always lead to a better outcome.
Besides that, being in teams also helps all of the other employees as they could share and accept
Ideas with an open mind. Besides that, employee have also developed a more creative thinking
skill. This is because as an administrative assistant every employee had to go through many
obstacles and struggles while doing their job. Therefore, employee had to come up with many
ideas to solve problems in a more creative manner. This has also made them a wiser person. This
skill has a potential in developing the company in the future as all employees have better
problem solving skills. Besides being that, employee have also developed a critical and
analytical thinking along side with that. This has made an improvement in their decisions. This
administrative employee can now take proper decisions based on logical evidence and research.
All of this personality that was developed while the job as an administrative assistant has made
the employee a better person over all.

Work based competencies

Throughout the working experiences, the employee had have developed many competencies.
They have applied much practical knowledge while completing given task. The employee was
able to adapt interpersonal skills in day-to-day business activity on to certain task that was
assigned. Employee was able to use their self-awareness skill in understanding other colleagues
problem and help them in solving it using the abilities of logical thinking. As an administrative
assistant, employee also have dealt with many types of visitors and customers while attending
phone calls. While dealing with that, employee had also used a very good communication skills
so that could satisfy the needs of the customers while lifting the good name of the company.
Employee have also used problem solving skills to solve many obstacles that they had have gone
through. Problem solving skill is the ability of solving a problem with a logical mind that doesnt
affect the disappointment of any party. Employee was able to solve any administration problems
that are related to the company. Besides that, they also was a well-organized person in the sense
that the employee has a plan of everything before omitting. Planning what you are going to do
ahead also help in saving precious time that could be used for various other activities. With this
quality, they were able to provide a good work flow that was easier for other employees to cope
with. It was also easier to coordinate and direct workplace activities more efficiently. Employee
also had a very good understanding with other colleagues. Employee wouldnt hesitate in helping
them in whichever work related matter as teamwork is a must in building an empire.

My values

The employee has the value that was obvious during working time that would be something

that should be proud of. During the working experience, they had shown integrity towards the
other colleague without considering their race or religion. Also, they have always seen everyone
equally as all members are working as a family under one roof. This has also helped in building
trust as employee was being honest in showing commitments and never lied if they had ever
made a mistake. This is also the professional way to deal with any tough situation that may
strike. Employee have always followed the rule that has been fixed by the company as violating
any rules may be a threat to my job position and it is also unprofessional. Employees have
always attended work on time to avoid any bad records. Besides that, the employee was also able
to adapt to any situation as my adaptability tolerance is high. By showing emotional intelligence
at work place they have eliminated all negatives and replacing it with positivity. By choosing to
be positive employee have helped spread a good vibe among other fellow employees. This has
also developed a friendlier environment among the office. Other than that, employee was never
hesitant in learning more about the field that was associated with. Also, employee was always
open to new information and knowledge that could be used to enhance my performance in the
working hours. Being open to learning also had made them a more intellectual person.
