Yeah we lost men, we always lose men. How we survive? Well we dont do we,
they import new men.

Tretich 5 is a mining colony mere hours of warptravel from Footfall. The
colony was created by the Scourge dynasty and sold to the Disciples of
Thule. The mine is a very rich one able to provide steel, silver and even
adamantium to the Lathe worlds. It is however as dangerous as it is rich, it
orbits very close to its star causing the mines to be less cavern systems and
more hellish nightmares of flowing metal. The casualty rates are extreme
and few miners survive a whole week of service, the gains are however high
enough to keep more recruits coming.
As Tretich 5 is an official world it was decided that it must pay tithes just as
any other, people who survive a full month are thus rewarded with a
retirement to the Imperial Guard, something that seems most appealing
after a few days of work.

Tunnel Rat: Tretich 5 Retired get a +10 bonus to Awareness and
Navigate (Surface) when underground,
The horror, the horror: Bright lights tend to bring back horrible
flashbacks of the stressful and lethal life they suffered before they
retired to the relative peace and calm of the Imperial guard, due to
this they suffer a -10 penalty to all perception tests in bright light.
Fire in the hole!: Tretich 5 use demolitions in their work frequently
and with high casualty rates. The regiment gets a +10 bonus to all
Logistics Tests made to obtain grenades, missiles, explosives and
special tank ammunition.

sleeping bag, two water canteens, rechargeable lamp pack, grooming kit,
Guard modified miners ID, Imperial Infantrymans Uplifting Primer, two
weeks rations, Great weapon (Mattock), chrono, M36 Lasgun with auxiliary
grenade launcher, one Krak grenade, one Frag grenade, one deadspace
earpiece,
Each squad receives two greande launchers
