In 2014 the activity of the services sector contracted by 0.8% and are expected to undergo a similar or slightly smaller contraction in 2015.
The index of tertiary industry activity for February in 2015 was up by 0.3% MoM (-0.4% YoY)
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan publishes on a monthly basis various indices on the level of activity of economic sectors.
