SUMMARY
Human nature is forgettable, that is why I would like to make my personal development plan.
I would like to see myself in next 4 years as a manager in my company where I am working now. My
company is a large-scale company and we are doing corporate services such as a payroll, accounts.
Document keeping and outsources. There are lots of small scale and medium scale business in the
markets who do not have possible to hire there on accounts and payroll works who do there outsource
work to give companies like my company who provide above services. Now a days I am working as a
admin assistant in my company I would like to see myself as a manager in admin team. I have to do
some plans to achieve my vision.
There are some study skills I require to achieve my personal development plan. That's why I start my
study and l am doing my post diploma degree, this is one year plan and after that I will do my MBA
degree. Which will very helpful to achieve my goal and other side I have to develop my skills which is
such an important for achieve my goal.

Self Introduction

Myself Benazir kaur, belongs to the Northern Part of India. Regarding my educational
qualification ,I completed my Matriculation in March 2003 and completed my Senior Secondary
in 2005 from Central Board of Secondary Education. In 2008, I graduated in Bachelor of Arts
from Punjab University, Chandigarh. After completing my Bachelors, I started working as an
Administration Assistant with A.P.J Sr. Sec. School. I got married in 2013 and then I think of
studying aboard and to do my masters over there. I chosen Australia for my master studies
Australia is known worldwide for its education system. Students from all over the world choose
Australia for their Masters. It offers an educational experience that makes a real difference.
Therefore I have chosen APIC College for doing my MBM. Doing Master of Business
Management from APIC College which is CRICOS registered is going to help me in enhancing
and developing my personal and professional skills. It will provide me with an international
exposure, which I may not get if I peruse MBM from my home country. I want to pursue my
career in MBA to explore managerial opportunities in MNCs and eventually start and develop my
own business in my home country. I want to enhance my knowledge, skills and would like to
explore more strategies and business studies. By graduating from such a reputed College, it will
give me an opportunity to develop my theoretical understanding and indent idea of practical
approaches in aiding managerial decision making, additionally it will also give me an international
exposure.

The Big Picture


India the biggest democracy in the world is going through a lot of changes and turmoil,
both from within and due to forces outside. As a country, it is unparalleled in its diversity
cultural, religious, social, and economical as well as political. The way India has evolved
since departure of colonial British in 1947 is not at all inspiring. Despite the celebration of
August 15 as Independence Day and January 26 as Republic Day for past six decades, it
does not appear that India has really shaken off its colonial past. Contrary to the expectation
that Indians would rule themselves with their own thinking it turned out that Nehru and his
colleagues largely followed the demeanor of the White British and failed to look at larger
issues faced by the newly truncated free state.
Today, India is globally recognized for three things: high poverty, high population, and high
corruption. India is home to about one-third of worlds extreme poor, is set to become the
most populous country by around 2028 beating China, and is counted among the most
corrupt countries in the world where opening and doing business is a mountainous task.
Doing business honestly in India is as tough as winning an Olympic medal, may be even
harder.

Mega Trends and Challenges

MEGA-TREND one is the acquiring of scale. The Indian economy, Indian companies and Indian
markets were mostly small or tiny. Remember that the Ambani family wealth seven years ago was
about Rs 5,000 crore (Rs 50 billion) -- the same as Jignesh Shah's today. Don't know about him?
He is a first-generation entrepreneur who is not yet 40. Secondly is the spread of connectivity and
awareness.

Thirdly, is the growth of the middle class -- talked about and anticipated for 20 years, but finally
acquiring true scale. Fourthly, has to do with the growing problems of growth. Also it has to do
with India's increasing openness to the world. The number of US visas issued in India doubled in
2006, to over 800,000 -- more than in any other country, barring Mexico. More Indian students are
studying in other countries than those of any other nationality, barring perhaps China. Neither of
these was remotely true 15 years ago. Moreover, the continuing dominance of youth. Something
like half of India is under 25, and it will remain that way for some time. This is usually spun
around into the economic fact that a higher percentage of people will be in the working age till the
mid-twenty-first century, but that is only one facet.
However among the challenges which India is facing the biggest challenge will be to revive an
economy that is mired in its worst slowdown since the 1980s due to myriad issues such as strained
public finances, persistently high inflation, high interest rates and rising bad loans at banks.
Another challenge in front of India is India's main internal security threat is from Maoists. They
have acquired guns, hand grenades and guerrilla war expertise over the years and routinely target
security forces and other government officials in areas that contains the country's richest mineral
deposits. Moreover the social problems as Urbanization, Unemployment, poverty, Illiteracy etc
which are prevailing in India since long is also one of the biggest challenges in front of India.

My short term goal is to seek a position as Business Development Manager in a company such as
Sony or Apple in a business group with a technological orientation in New Media or Mobile Devices. I
look forward to leading the entrepreneurial initiatives and innovation such a position requires. Here I
would be responsible for locating undeveloped market areas, and creating innovative business models
for new products. My plan is to stay with this company for 4-5 years, fulfilling at least one other
position in another business group, as I would like to broaden my knowledge of the markets more
quickly in order to move on to pursue my own entrepreneurial venture. Eventually, I hope to return to
the high tech industry in my country and work to found my own company.

Long term Goals


My longer term vision is becoming the CEO of a major telecom company, such as Vodafone. I want to
be the one that directs the course, creates a vision and executes it. I believe that a successful CEO has to
have the skills to hire the right people to run the every-day business, while he worries about future
business directions. A path of management roles in large corporations that focus on business
development will serve as the necessary ground for being an innovative leader hopefully leaving my
mark on the telecom industry, and at some point I do see myself putting my knowledge and experience
into my own company, and surprising the telecom market with an innovative product or service.

Values and ethics are important in the workplace to help keep order, ensuring that
a company runs smoothly and remains profitable. Each individual company makes
its values and ethics known almost immediately after hiring an employee, or many
times, during the interview process. And in many businesses, no matter how well
an employee performs, if he doesnt follow workplace values and ethics, it can
result in termination.
Values and Ethics are essential to me. The premise of any moral choice for me
needs to be "The means by which would I feel on the off chance that I was forced
to bear this choice". This can be exceptionally troublesome in a multi social work
environment or society as individuals recognitions and qualities can vary
limitlessly. It is anything but difficult to settle on a choice taking your own
qualities, however the needs and estimations of others have to be considered into
record.

individual values this can be exceptionally difficult. It is not generally clear what is
the right choice, however you have to structure your choice inside your own
