Learning Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils will
be able to
1) spell at least 10 ordinal numbers correctly
2) fill the blanks in the table correctly
Activities:
1) Introduction teacher shows a video clip about a 100
meter running event. Pupils guess what the topic is.
2) Teacher explains how to write ordinal numbers in letters.
3) Pupils spell the ordinal letters in their exercise book;
neatly and legibly.
4) Next task pupils study the table. Pupils fill in the blanks
correctly.
5) Pupils construct simple sentences based on the table
given.

3) Pupils study the second person. Pupils write their own
sentences based on the picture.
4) Teacher selects pupils to read aloud their descriptions.
Other pupils will determine whether the description is
correct or not.

(according to their gender).
2) Pupils listen as teacher gives instructions.
e.g.: The girls hat is red.
The boys t-shirt is blue.
