Amida Care, a not-for-profit special needs health plan (SNP) that provides comprehensive
medical, behavioral, and wellness services to people living with multiple chronic
conditions such as HIV, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder, recognized its
providers, sponsors, and members and honored the New York State AIDS Institute at A
Night of Stars gala on April 16 that also rallied commitment to New Yorks statewide
initiative to End the HIV/AIDS Epidemic by 2020. Read more.

UWVC
The United War Veterans Council of New York announced a major effort to re-focus
its mission and restructure its operations in preparation for a greater organizational
reach by 2019, the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day (now known as Veterans
Day). The Council has retained Dan McSweeney, founder and principal of InterSect
LLC, to support the transition of the organization in 2015 and beyond. McSweeney
has served on the UWVC Advisory Board since 2011. Read more.
