Availability of AutoCAD Express Tools for AutoCAD

Issue
Your AutoCAD 2002 software does not include the AutoCAD Express
Tools library. You want to know if you can obtain AutoCAD Express Tools
for AutoCAD 2002.
Solution
There are no AutoCAD Express Tools created specifically for AutoCAD
2000i or AutoCAD 2002. However, many of the AutoCAD 2000 Express
Tools are incorporated into AutoCAD 2002 software. Those tools include the
following:
ATTOUT, ATTSYNC, BATTMAN, CLOSEALL, FULLPATH, GATTE,
LAYTRANS, MPEDIT, PACK, and PLJOIN.
The exact commands may have changed when the tool was integrated into
AutoCAD software. For additional information about which command is
equivalent to a specific tool, refer to "What's New" in AutoCAD 2002 Help.
AutoCAD 2000 Express Tools sold at the Autodesk Store can be installed or
migrated and used in AutoCAD 2000i or AutoCAD 2002. There are some
known issues, as follows.
Express Tool: Double Click Properties (DCPROPS)
Issue in AutoCAD 2002: This will execute the properties (CTRL+1) after
the specific dialog box for the item is closed.
Workaround: Do not enable double-click properties, or just be aware that in
some cases you will have two dialog boxes to close instead of one.
Express Tool name: Display AutoLISP Command (LSP)
Issue in AutoCAD 2002: The (?) command issued from the command line
during the LSP command will generate an error stating that the acad_vlr.hlp
file is missing.
Workaround: This behavior is expected because the Visual LISP engine in
AutoCAD 2002 is different from AutoCAD 2000 (this is also in issue with
AutoCAD 2000i).
Notes:
You can purchase AutoCAD 2000 Express Tools at the Autodesk
Store. However, new feature add-ons for the products are now
distributed as Extensions.

Discussion Groups.
