AT THE AIRPORT
We kindly advise you to use the suggested taxi service in order to lower your travel costs.
Upon arrival to the Joe Punik Airport in Ljubljana, Slovenia, please look for the following taxi transport
from Airport to Ljubljana Center, for EUR 8,00 or EUR 9,00 (both shuttles wait at the parking lot in front of
the Airport Hall Exit):

WHERE WILL YOU STAY?

CEF has made reservation for you at the hotel you indicated in your application form according to the
availability of rooms. All hotels are situated in the city Center, close to CEF. The hotel accommodation in a
single room with breakfast will be paid for you by your employer for the duration of the course as well as
for the day of arrival and/or departure.

The hotel reservation is made in your name and envisages arrival until 4.00 pm. In case of your late
arrival, please notify the hotel. Cancellation is free of charge if made until 4.00 pm on the day of arrival.
For no-show or cancellation after 4.00 pm on the day of arrival the hotel charges one (1) overnight
cancellation fee. The accommodation includes breakfast in the hotel.

Training will be held at the premises of CEF, Cankarjeva 18. Please find below the map, showing the way

We will start with the workshop on Tuesday, April, 28, 2015 at 9.00 am. Upon your arrival please report to
the security service where you will receive a name tag, which we kindly ask you to wear visibly while in the
building.
Please see attached the Agenda of this event that will be handed to you on the first day of the training
together with the materials on paper.

CITY TOUR OF LJUBLJANA

A guided walking sightseeing tour of the old part of Ljubljana is planned for Tuesday afternoon. We
suggest you have comfortable shoes with you. The guide will meet the participants in front of the CEF
after the workshop.

WHEN YOU GET HUNGRY

CEF will organize coffee breaks at the CEF and lunch. You will receive lunch tickets for the Canteen at the
Ministry of Finance. It is located around the corner from CEF. At lunch time please gather in the CEF lobby
and wait for a CEF representative to escort you to the Canteen. See the location on the map.

HOW WILL YOU TRAVEL AROUND LJUBLJANA

During your stay in Ljubljana, you can use taxi or public transportation. For city buses you are required to
obtain City Card Urbana. You can purchase it at:
1. Ticket office of Ljubljana Public Transport (LPP),
Slovenska 56, Ljubljana
2. All Tourist Information Centers (TIC) in Ljubljana
3. The tobacco and newspaper shops Delo Prodaja and
3Dva
4. At Urbanomat machines stationed at all the main
bus stops
5. At Ljubljana Bus station
Urbana purchase price is EUR 2,00. A single bus ride will
cost you EUR 1,20. Urbana enables you free transfers
within 90 minutes. The purchase points are marked with
red point (see picture).
Visitors to Ljubljana can now ride around the capital using new bicycles from BicikeLJ, a self-service renta-bike system.
