Advantage of Reading

We always think only one question, what is the advantage of reading? There
are many reasons people should read. People should read because it helps them to
improve in English. It helps them to be a better reader and it helps people get
better jobs. For these reasons people should read books.

First of all, Reading helps people to learn English and improve in English. For
example, there are many words we dont know so when we read a book, we learn
these words. If we dont know the meaning of the word we are going to write it and
then look it up in the dictionary, which helps us to learn new word and meaning of
the word.

In conclusion, I think reading is very important. We have to read otherwise

we cant succeed in the future. Reading is very important. If we dont read books
we cant learn better English, if we dont learn English we cant get better job.
Many people think that reading is not so important. I think they should think more

Holidays
Good morning to the panel of honourable adjudicators, teachers, and friends. On
this fine morning, I would like to talk about Malaysian Holidays. Our country of Malaysia is
the home of people of different cultures and ethnic groups. The majority of
Malaysians are Malays. Besides Malays, there are Chinese, Indians, and so on. We
live here, Malaysia, peacefully without wars amongst ourselves.
To students, a public holiday means having fun and relaxing. We students
will get tired of school if holidays didnt exist. Spending our time on a holiday also
means we could spend some time with our family. A five-day school week gives us
less time to hang around with our families. During the weekends, our time is usually
spent in shopping malls with either our family or buddies
Of all the holidays in Malaysia, there is one celebration that most of the
citizens watch or attend. Merdeka is the word that people cheer to at the stroke
of midnight of 31st August of every year. Celebrated at landmarks such as Dataran Merdeka,
and many more in the Wilayah Persekutuan.

Thanks are the word I would like to say, for sharing your time with me on
this wonderful day.

Healthy Lifestyle
To obtain healthy living is not easy. We have to work hard to get it. There
are several ways one can lead a healthy life..
So before I go on, let us see the ways to get a proper diet. Our diet should
follow the food pyramid. We should eat sufficient carbohydrates such as rice,
bread and noodles. We must eat plenty of vitamins such as fruits and vegetables.
We should also eat proteins such as fish, meat and chicken, but in moderation.
We should get enough sleep every day. I am not hinting to my friends to take
forty winks when they are in class. An average child needs at least 8 hours of
sleep. For example, if we wake up at 6am, we should sleep at 10pm every night.
What will happen if we do not get enough sleep? Well, for sure we will feel very
sleepy and unable to comprehend what is taught in class, thus making us to lose out.
We must get enough exercise time every day. Our exercise routine should
consist of a variety of activities such as running, games like football and basketball
and also physical exercise such as tennis and swimming so that we dont get bored
with the same activities.

If you follow my suggestions to lead a healthy life, I am sure we can build a

Friendship
A friend is a gift you give to yourself. Friends are those people in your life
with whom you do not have any blood relation. Its a relation of love and affection
towards other people.
Your friend is someone with whom you feel comfortable and can easily share
your thoughts and feelings. You do not have to think twice when you are with your
friends. A true friend loves you unconditionally, understands you, but never judges
you and always tries to support you and give you good advice. The friendship of
Krishna and Sudama is a great example of true friendship.
A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you. Elbert Hubbard
A true friend is one will always be there when you need someone.. Difficult
times are the best time to realize who your true friends are. Friends show us how
to live a life in a different way; they are the ones who can change our viewpoints
for good. There is no growth of the person without any friend.
A friend is really very essential to understand life. Until now we have been
looking at life the way our family wanted us to see, it is only when we see the world
with the eyes of a friend that our view point changes.

Air Pollution
Assalamualaikum and a very good morning to the honourable judges, teachers
,and my fellow friend. I am standing here to deliver my words about Pollution.
Please lend me your ears friends.
As we know, pollution is one of the biggest environmental problems but still
many people do not take pollution problem seriously as they should be.
Environmental pollution comes in various forms, such as: air pollution and water
pollution.
The main sources of pollution are definitely industry and vehicles. Heavy
industries based on fossil fuels are especially dangerous for our environment. If we
take a look at China and India for instance we can see that rapid economic
development actually has rather high environmental price.
Environmental protection is caring for ourselves, loving our children and
ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. You and I should therefore
accept personal responsibility for the success of the environmental protection
programs of our respective community by cooperating and actively participating in
making the atmosphere pollution free.
Consequently, let us think about this phrase If there are no pollutants,
there will be no pollution . With that, I thank you.

My Dream
Every person in the world have a dream, and each person dream is different
only some of us same dream but different goals has been set by each person .
Everyone also want their dream to be achieved. But sometime also have person
have different with what they achieved, it because only God can determine what
we can get for our future we just can design what we want but only God can
determine it.
Dream also have advantage because sometime dreams make us to try very
hard to achieve it in our life. like say if you have a dream bring out your family
from a poor life so you can study very hard or work very hard. As a normal person I
also have dream.
I have a lot of dream, one of my dream is want to get occupation that can
change my family and I from poor life. Everyday I see my mom and dad wake up
early morning go to work I feel so sad look at them, because at the age of half
century but they still work to survive their child while waiting their child finish
study. I as their son that still study I will study very hard to bring out my family
from poor life. Beside of study is one of our responsibility but study also as one
required worship in Islam. So every Muslim must to fulfill it.
Its my big dream but i don't know when can I achieved that dream. Even
thought it is a big dream but I put it as my target before my last breath.

Time Management

Each day you have 24 hours to utilize. Each person gets the same amount.
You can't save them like vacation days. When they are over, the time is gone.
Whether you spent your time wisely or foolishly, it doesn't matter, you can't get it
back.
So, if you can't manage "time", what can you manage? You can manage
yourself and how you spend your day by setting priorities for what you want to
accomplish and then scheduling the activities into a day planner, a calendar, or just
a "to do" list.
The first thing you need to do is decide what is important to you and then
schedule it into your day. If you use a calendar, you may want to colour code it with
red for very important. You can schedule other events - work, leisure - in different
colours so that it is easy to see what you want to do at any point in time. You can
take some time at the beginning of each week to plan your activities for the week.
Often you will have to plan your activities around other family members. It
may help to colour code each of your family members as well. Then you can decide
if spending time attending their activities is a priority for you or not.
The important thing is to set your priorities so that you will allow time for them.
That way you will use your time more efficiently .

Hobby
When youre thinking about what youre called to do or at least what you want to
do next dont forget to look at your hobbies, all of those things you do in your
spare time, all of those things that make you relaxed and happy and creative and
accomplished..
My hobby is gardening. Gardening is my favourite pastime. I like flowers. I
remember that I liked flowers even when I was a little child. When someone gave
me flowers, it was the best present for me. I could look at flowers for a long time,
marvelling at their beauty.
We usually spend summers at our summer house in a small village not far
from my hometown. My mother and grandmother grow berries, vegetables and
fruit. My father and I help them to plant the seeds, to weed the garden, to water
the plants, and to gather the crop.
I'm also preparing a small flowerbed for roses. Roses are very beautiful, but
they are not easy to grow. I'm reading an interesting book on gardening. The book
is full of helpful tips on growing flowers in our climate. I hope to have nice roses
next summer.

My Family
My family consists of four people.
There's my father whose name is Jan, my mother whose name is Marie, my
brother, Peter and of course, me. I have quite a large extended family as well but
only the four of us live together in our apartment in a block of flats.
My father is fifty-two years old. He works as an accountant in an insurance
company. He is tall and slim, has got short brown and gray hair and blue eyes. My
father likes gardening very much as well as listening to music and reading books
about political science. His special hobbies are bird watching and travelling.
Now I'll describe my mother and my brother. My mother is forty-seven and
she works as a nurse in a hospital. She is small and slim, has short brown hair and
green eyes. She likes bird watching and travelling too, so whenever my parents are
able to they go some place interesting for nature watching. Since we have a
cottage with a garden they both spend a lot of time there.
My brother is sixteen. He is slim and has short brown hair and blue eyes. He
also attends high school. He is interested in computers and sports like football and
hockey. He also spends a lot of time with his friends.
Even though my brother and I sometimes fight about who has to do what
job, we are still very close. I am also very close to my parents and I can rely on
them to always try to help me. I hope in the future that I have a family like ours.
