Oil Record Book:


Every oil tanker of 150 grt and above and every vessel of 400 grt and above othe
r than a tanker shall be
provided with an Oil Record Book Part I (Machinery Space Operations).
Every oil tanker of 150 grt and above shall also be provided with Oil Record Boo
k Part II (Cargo / Ballast
Operations).
Entries: Any movement of oil in and out of the vessel and internal shifting of o
il.
Non Tankers:
1. ballasting or cleaning of fuel tanks.
2. discharge of ballast or water from fuel oil tanks, which have been ballasted
or cleaned.
