Aim of the Course


At the completion of the course, we expect that all students,
will have a knowledge of organizations nature as systems, the environment within the
business undertakings operate, and different business functions, and
will be able to critically analyze, synthesize and evaluate business related problems within and
outside the organization.
Teaching Method
Lectures will cover the topics in detail. Classes will be based on case studies, role playing exercises
and discussions.

Student Evaluation
Student evaluation will be based on;
a) Final exam: 50%
b) Mid-term: 30 %

c) Worksheets & Class work& Pop-Quiz: 20 %


Cookies are points that specifically intended to reward those students who work on a regular basis and
enjoy challenge.
Final and mid-term exam are essay exams where students must show their knowledge and critical
thinking on the exam paper.
Pop-Quizzes can be given in any time unannounced in the classes that has been covered in your
classes and lectures.
For midterms no make-up will be given. Any student with a valid excuse will fill the "Extenuating
Circumstances Form" in the Student Affairs Office and the Office of the Dean will evaluate his/her
situation.
Conduct in Lectures and Classes: Students are expected to come to classes and lectures on time;
punctuality is a must and always is appreciated.
Conduct in the Examination Room; students are expected to be on time in the examination room
with their university IDs. For rules governing exam room behavior please check
Undergraduate Handbook. (p: 26)
Cheating and Plagiarism: Cheating and plagiarism is strictly forbidden; students attempting
engaging in such acts will fail the course and have disciplinary action.
Plagiarism is the act of taking the writings of another person and passing them off as one's own. The
fraudulence is closely related to forgery and piracy--practices generally in violation of copyright laws.
If only thoughts are duplicated, expressed in different words, there is no breach of contract. Also, there
is no breach if it can be proved that the duplicated wordage was arrived at independently.

* depriving of something valuable by the use of deceit or fraud,
* influencing or lead by deceit, trick, or artifice
* practicing fraud or trickery
