Installation Guide

Windows Installation
1 Double-click HandyShare 4.x.x.x Setup.exe

on the included SD card to launch the installer.

If you have downloaded the software, the installer
is inside the folder that appears after the ZIP file
is decompressed.
The 4.x.x.x number indicates the version.

5 Select the folder where you want to install.

Click Change if you want to install the

software in a folder other than the standard
folder.

6 Click Install to install the software.

2 Select the setup language and click OK.

Mac OS X Installation
1 Double-click HandyShare 4.x.x.x Setup.mpkg

on the included SD card to launch the installer.

5 Click Install to install the software.

If you have downloaded the software, the installer

is inside the folder that appears after the ZIP file

The 4.x.x.x number indicates the version.

2 The installer starts and the Introduction

page is shown. Click Continue.

3 Carefully read the Software License

Agreement that is shown, and then

press Continue. When the confirmation
dialog appears, click Agree.

6 The password input screen opens. Input

the name and password of a user with
administrator privileges and click OK.

3 The installation wizard starts.

Click Next to start the installation process.

7 Click Finish to complete the installation.

7 Click Close to complete the installation.

4 The Destination Select screen opens.

Click Continue to start installation of

the software on the selected disk.

4 Carefully read the Software License

Agreement that is shown, click the

I accept the terms in the license agreement
button and then click Next.

When you connect Handy video recorder to your

computer, HandyShare will automatically launch.
If QuickTime has not been installed on your computer,
or the version installed is an older version, the
QuickTime installer will launch. After installing
QuickTime, HandyShare will automatically launch when
you reconnect Handy video recorder to your computer.

When you connect Handy video recorder to your

Mac, HandyShare will automatically launch.

If you are using HandyShare Ver.1

On your computer running Windows XP, the first time

HandyShare Ver.4 is automatically launched after it
has been installed, a Start HandyShare item appears
in the auto play dialog. Do not select this. The Start
HandyShare item will not appear in the auto play
dialog when launching automatically after the first time.

Important notes about installation

During installation, administrator privileges are necessary. If you do not have administrator privileges,
please consult with your system administrator.
When installing, quit all other running applications.

512 MB RAM(1GB or more recommended)
