ABT METER READING WITH CMRI PROCEDURE (At on site)

A.Press Power/Resume button for CMRI power ON.

B.Select option 1 for SEMS for ABT Meter reading.
C.Then CMRI display showing following options.
1.Read Meter Data.
2.Dump Data.
3.Read Energy.
4.Calibration.
5.Terminals.
6.Space.
7.Meter Summator.
8.Identification No.
9.Load Survey Days.
R.Read Direct Meter.
F. Configure IID.
D.Select 9 for Load survey days.
E.Type load survey days.
F.CMRI display again point 5.
G.Select 1 for Read meter data.
H.After successful meter reading by CMRI again display as point 5.
I.Press 6 for check space and nos of meters read.
J.If CMRI do not read the data from meter and show the COMMINICATION FAIL
then wait for 5 min and again repeat from point E to I

DATA DUMP BY CMRI WITH PC PROCEDURE

a.Collect CMRI from meter reader & check MRI space & no of meters which read.
b.Charge CMRI & ready to be dumping in computer.
c.Open Smart2000 & type username SUPERVISOR & password superpower.

d.Process of MRI data uploading is as follows:

i.Connect the MRI to COM port of PC having SMART 2000 with a serial
cable.

Select MRI>MRI Communication from the main menu of

SMART
2000.

iii.Select different options as follows:

1.From MRI Type select type of MRI which is to be read i.e. Analogic
MRI.
2.From Protocol Type select protocol to be used for communicating
with MRI. i.e. SMART Protocol.
3.From COM Port select the COM port where MRI is connected.

iv.

Click Read MRI.

v.Click on Cancel for data saving in default folder.

vi.Put the CMRI in Dump mode by press the button 2 by CMRI.

vii.Click on yes on PC as per above figure show.

viii.Data dumping process start as per above figure.

ix.After successfully read the MRI the above screen shown and click on OK.

Precaution: Make sure that the MRI is connected on the right COM port and
is in Dump mode.

CMRI PREPARE WITH PC PROCEDURE

1.Connect the MRI to COM port of PC having SMART 2000 with a serial
data cable.
2.Select MRI > MRI Communication from the main menu of SMART
2000.

1.From MRI Type select type of MRI which is to be read i.e. Analogic MRI.

MRI. i.e. SMART Protocol.

3.From COM Port select the COM port where MRI is connected. Click
Prepare MRI.

1. Select meter Schedule file name from schedule folder AND Select CLEAR

PRECOSION:
During MRI read operation the PC must not running any other program
loaded in the memory which captures the serial port or which can take
away CPU time such as memory resident program.
Unnecessary key pressing should be avoided while data transfer is taking
place.

LOAD SURVEY (METER DATA) IN CSV FILE

1. Select Meter no. In Smart 2k as following screen.

b. Double Click on MRD file as showing following screen.

c. Select Load Survey Menu as showing following screen.

d. Click on Print Load Survey in Tabular format Tab.

After that shown fallowing window.

e. Then click on the tab and shown fallowing window. Select Your
like Redio button Demand or Energy choice. E.g. Active (E) and
Active (I).

f. After that click on convert button to make CSV file.Then popup

fallowing window screen on converted file successfully.as
fallowed.

g. Now go to My Computer - C drive Program file Entity

Smart2000 CSV folder open & check same meter no. folder.
