Teaching-learning and assessment strategy:

1. Provide quizzes, tutorials and tests to regularly assess student performance in
the subject
2. Written exams and multiple choice questions utilized in final examinations to
conclusively assess student performance
3. The students performances for the course will be subjected to 3 types of
assessments to ensure the students have attained and achieved the expected
level of the prescribed course learning outcomes. The module assignment will
contribute to 30% of total marks. The class presentation will contribute 20%, a
short in class quizzes provide 10% and the module exam will contribute the
balance 40%. The examination questions will be set by the module lecturer and
will be held at a scheduled time before the beginning of the next module.
Examination questions will be a mix of subjective and objective format.
