Range of application
GripControl hydraulic power packs are tailor-made for
Zwick hydraulic grips and tools/fixtures up to 250 kN.

Gentle gripping for optimum specimen protection

GripControl
The power pack is linked to testControl II via the futureproof EtherCAT interface, leaving the interface modules
of the machine electronics free. All power pack functions
can be controlled conveniently and ergonomically via
the testing software or the machine remote-control. For
sensitive specimens the grip closing-speed can optionally
be set via testXpert II. There is a choice of four operating
modes altogether, two of which are optional.

Advantages and features of GripControl

Specimens are always gripped and held perfectly,
regardless of the properties of the specimen material. Various operating modes can be selected:
- One-off generation of set gripping pressure
- Re-tightening in the event of pressure drop
- Optional wedge or continuous gripping

GripControl Stand Alone

The Stand Alone power pack is controlled dirctly via
its own remote control unit, with no connection to the
testControl electronics. The remote control features the
following functions:
Grips can be opened or closed individually
Pressure can be set very simply via a dial control
Re-tightening function can also be activated via the
remote control
Short cycle-times, easy to operate. Provision of
two different pumps ensures rapid closing and high
pressures. Smooth and fully automatic switching.
