Why english is important in my job.
It is very important to learn English in my work,
because as technical systems, often some devices
manuals are in English and it is important to
understand what the manual says to handle devices in
a good way.It also allows to communicate with other
people in different parts of the world, where the most
widely used language is English.

Sometimes i read the newspaper in my freetime and i

I'm Policarpo Ruiz, I am 28 years old, my job is as
patrolman of the Nacional Police in the town of
Bucarasica, Santander North. I'm from the city of
Pamplona, studied at the Nacional University Open
and Distance UNAD, Psychology program.

1. SENTENCE
Im police, along with my colleagues, we perform
surveillance of the Bucarasica town an docial work
community. So we work together always.

We get up early, we sort our stuff and go to the
workplace, sometimes in the central command, others
in patrolling. Neither we realize time, because too
much to do. Not is one big city but their problems they
are delicate.

ADVANTAGES OF SPEAKING ENGLISH IN MY
WORK
Hello, my name is Policarpo Ruiz, my job is to be
patrolman of the National Police, many people visit our
country, some of them speak English, it is very
important to talk to them and woory about their
problems to help.
Today my Institution have as objetive, training of
qualified police in all fields, in order to facilitate the
work of community care, socialservices and security to
the entire population, so this language is essential time
of the service.

Also the language skills can bring benefits for care

advancement. Today exhanges of information and
personnel security agencies of other countries or
international organization is done.
