Aspects studied on University Degree
- Animation Principles and Animation Production which focused on developing core elements of the animation
production process and 2D and 3D software skills alongside traditional hand drawn animation.
- Visual Research for Animation, Sound and Visualisation, Narrative, Pre-Production, Cartoon Animation and Character
Animation and Performance allowed developing more in depth knowledge of particular skills in designing and
producing character animation, visual storytelling, compositing and editing.
- Learning about creating low/high polygon models and how to rig, skin, animate and texture (UV Mapping) onto
character models. Facial animations using bones, blend shapes, controllers such as nurbs, driven keys etc.
- Group projects based on clients or briefs helped to develop particular strengths, organization, collaboration and
studying an animation related subject in depth.
