HICSS-48
Call for Papers

The HICSS-48 conference will consist of symposia, workshops,

tutorials, advanced seminars, a keynote address, a distinguished
lecture, formal paper presentations, and ad hoc meetings over
four days, Monday through Thursday, January 5-8, 2015 at the
Grand Hyatt on Kauai.
Since 1967 HICSS conferences have provided an exciting
forum for the exchange of scientific ideas, research results,
development activities, and applications among academicians
and practitioners in the information, computer, and system
science disciplines. Conference leaders seek the most recent
and relevant cross-disciplinary research, providing a variety of
research topics and wide-ranging discussion opportunities.
Among 18 top Information Systems conferences,
HICSS is ranked 2nd in citation ranking,
2nd in value among IS conferences, and
3rd in value to the MIS field.
HICSS papers emphasize advances in research and development activities in several areas of the system sciences. Papers
may be theoretical, conceptual, tutorial, or descriptive in nature.
Acceptance is based on a strict peer review in a double-blind
process, June - August of each year. Accepted papers are
published in the HICSS-48 Conference Proceedings, distributed
by the IEEE Computer Society Press, and included in Explore,
the IEEE Digital Library (http://computer.org/cspress).
