SABIS Ski & Snowboarding Outing
Information Regarding
Parents of Students in Grades 6-12
equipment, rentals of skis, snowboards,
boots, poles and helmets will be available at
the resort, for a nominal rental fee. All
participants are required to wear
helmets. Additionally, if your child has
never skied or boarded before, a lesson is
advised. Lessons will also be available for
any level, and it never hurts to take a quick
refresher session with a Certified Instructor.

Travel Details
The SABIS bus will depart the Joan Street
parking lot at 2:00 PM sharp and travel to
the ski area. Travel time is about 1 hour
and 15 minutes. At arrival, students will be
chaperoned to the ticket, rental and lesson
areas, where they will be ticketed and/or
outfitted with equipment. They will then be
on their own to ski or board, as desired.
Lesson participants will be escorted to the
ski school area. At 8:45 PM the bus will
begin its trip back to SABIS.

Weather Postponement
In the event of dangerous travel conditions,
the trips will be cancelled, and postponed
to a later date, to be determined, based on
chaperone availability and transportation
arrangements.
