2. Use your AT reports and feedback from your VL to identify up to 4-5 key
aspects of your performance that you need to address and
improve in the future. You need to identify what aspect you need to
address and explain why you need to make changes in this area.
For example, you may have realised that you did not have enough
activities for the time available. This caused anxiety for the final ten
minutes of the lesson and an opportunity for students to misbehave.

3. Use your analysis in the last two tasks to identify four specific goals
that are linked to any of the Edprac 608 learning outcomes listed on the
next page (taken from the Practicum handbook) that you intend to address
during Practicum Two. Ensure you create S.M.A.R.T goals that are specific,
measurable, achievable, relevant and timely.
While you will obviously need to address key aspects identified in reports, you
may also include goals that have not been emphasised as needing attention in
reports, but which, on reflection, are important for you to address.
After specifying a goal, you will need to state specifically what steps you will
take in order to achieve this goal. If you not sure what those next steps might be,
then it is important to state this clearly, so that you might then seek out
appropriate advice.

In week one of Semester Two, you are to choose a peer in your Edprac class and
share the contents of this goal-setting sheet. Explain your strengths, areas for
development and the rationale for the goals you have set yourself.
Get feedback on whether your goals set are specific, measureable, achievable
realistic and accurately reflect the information you received about your first
practicum.
At the conclusion of your conversation, sign the sheet and have your peer do the
same.

Take this sheet to your 2nd practicum school, and share your goals with
your AT and your VL, with a view to enhancing your professional practice
in your final practicum.
