SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Please provide a copy of your high school transcripts. Please note that your transcript DOES
NOT need to be sealed.

2. Please provide a TWO PAGE, TYPED ESSAY (double spaced) about your academic and
extracurricular interests, and how the path you are currently taking in high school will shape
your goals in college. Finally, tell us where you see yourself six years from now.
3. If you are interested in receiving a scholarship to attend this program, please provide an
additional ONE PAGE, TYPED ESSAY (double spaced) explaining your need for financial
assistance for the Summer Scholars Program. For those who receive the award, the amount of
scholarship awarded will be between $100 and $400 for residents and between $50 and $200
for commuters. Scholarships are based on the strength of the essay and are given on a limited
and selected basis.
4. Please also provide one letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, supervisor, guidance
counselor, advisor, etc. These recommendation letters can be included in your application
packet, but must be sealed and signed by the recommender. Unsealed or ripped
recommendations will not be accepted.

University activities, both on and off the University premises. I understand that my admission to the Summer Scholars Program
is a privilege and not a right and I agree that my admission (if granted) and continuation in the Program are subject to all
policies, rules, regulations and procedures set forth in the current bulletins, catalogs and other publications and amendment
notices of Pace University and the Summer Scholars Program, and as they may be amended, and further subject to the right of
the authorities of Pace University to require my withdrawal from scholastic, disciplinary or other reasons, under circumstances
deemed sufficient by them.
I understand that the tuition fee is payable to PACE UNIVERSITY by the due date that will be noted on my invoice following my
acceptance, and that PACE UNIVERSITY reserves the right to impose a finance charge if my account is overdue. I certify that I
personally have completed this application and that the information I provide is complete and accurate. Misrepresentation of
information requested in this application may be considered sufficient reason for denial of admission.

The cost of the program for 2015 is $1400 for commuter students and
$2400 for resident students. The $50 non-refundable deposit goes toward
tuition costs.
