Running Head: Analyzes the Need for Health Care Reform

The U.S. has an exceptional technique of health care provision. Health care delivery and
health services can have different meanings, just a little, but they both reflects towards the most
important factor of the system and the procedures that empower the patients to obtain health
care. There are many developed countries that have national health insurance systems which are
governed by the government and invested through common taxes. Majority of the people in such
countries are permitted to obtain health care aids that include standard and uncomplicated health
care. These nations have what is generally signified as equitable access. Unlike the other
countries or nations, the U.S. People are not allowed regular and simplified high level health care
assistances. This term paper will articulate the matters regarding the price, quality along with the
access to the present U.S. health care method. It will give a clear understanding to why or why
not the present health care approach is an example of failure that compels government
involvement, as well as explaining the diverse requests for change from both governmental
parties. It will also review the significant components of reform which are required from the
viewpoint of the person responsible of the source used.
Cost, Quality, and access
Cost, quality, and access are very important when it comes to consumers. The health care
reform has capped the administrative fee, not allowing the professional to just individually bill
the patient for different procedures during the same visit. This was a great movement on the
behalf of the health reform, on the other hand, they still do not explain the issues with the rising
health care cost. Rhonda Anderson spoke about the Volume based medicine vs. value based
medicine along with the lack of cost and quality transparency (GCU, 2015). The base value of
medicine helps the teaching of microeconomics. The customer selections are inspired by way of

expression of value split by cost. The product or service value becomes greater when the price
becomes lower and quality becomes higher. In health care the price and quality of a provider are
not known until the consumer has already made their decision. When consumers do not know the
price and the quality of a provider it leads to uncertain ROI and increasing health care cost
(Jonathan S MD, 2012).
The United States was considered of having the most expensive and underperformed
health care system amongst the 11 other countries, according to Common Wealth Fund
(Common Wealth fund, 2012). The years that the U.S. came last was 2010, 2007, 2006, and 2004
and they were last again in 2014 (common wealth fund, 2014). The scariest part about this is that
the U.S. has not been able to attain superior health care than other countries. When it comes to
dimensions of access, quality, and cost the United States has been last (Common wealth fund,
2014).
Key Elements
Holistic Care Integration- Integrated health care Rhonda Anderson spoke about how a
person should be treated in health care during their visits. She said that a patients should be
treated in a way that all their needs would be met, whether or not it is physical, emotional, social,
or spiritual, as longs the need is met (NCADD, 2011).
The Accountable Care Organization (ACO), is an objectives planned to transport about
reforms double purposes of refining care and decreasing health care prices (NCADD, 2011).
The Medical Home Health Homes are a model of holistic therapy. Health Homes

Health Insurance Exchanges- is where a display of plans, coverages and cost will be
available throughout a web entry and enables individual and families to have lower and quality
health insurance (NCADD, 2011).
The health care system of delivery in the United States is exceptional, but if lacks
universal quality, access, and cost, system of health care delivery, but the system lack universal
access, quality, and cost, as a result, all Americans do not have the excitement of having constant
and complete health care. No country in this universe has a flawless system. Majority of the
nations which have a health care system that is national that have a national has a confidential
region that fluctuates in dimension. The method frame work delivers a systematized approach to
the knowledge of the assorted elements of the American health care release system.
