1. GUILLERMO LEN VIDAL GARCA

PERSONAL PRESENTATION
My name is Guillermo Len Vidal Garca, I am 37 years old, I live in Barranquilla,
Montera and Sincelejo, I am single and dont have children, I am seller of motorcycles
parts, this company is located in Cucuta.
In this moment I am study business manager, I am in the third semester in the UNAD in
Barranquilla.

DESCRIPTION ACTIVITIES AT WORK

DKMS is a National Company that this in the market for about four years and its principal
activity is the import of parts for motorcycles from Middle East, that then are distributed in
all Colombia.
The success of our company, is because we have three principal suppliers that sell us at
good Prices and they make our owns brands; It allows us to compete with low prices
and products of excellent quality.
This work is very fascinating, because I know a lot of places of the coast and I every day I
met new people and I feel that my clients like my work.
Everyday I am visiting different clients and I take their orders and then I send this
information my boss by e-mail.
In this moment I am earning good salary, because my salary depend of the quantity of parts
motorcycles that I sell in the month and it is good business in the Coast.
I am having a lot of time free time the weekends and I use this time to study, share with my
family and my girlfriend.
I am feeling very happy in this work, because every day I am learning new things and I
hope have a better position in this company

ADVANTAGES OF DRIVING A NEW LANGUAGE AT WORK

Knowing English is very important, because help me to obtain a better employment and
could help to open many professional doors.
Speaking, listening, writing and reading English fluently with an important vocabulary is
necessary for the business, because many companies have business with companies in the
abroad and they need people that have skills of English.

My name is Deivis Cervantes. I am 33 years old. I am from Barranquilla.
I am the program of technology in industry logistics and I am a computer assistant.

DESCRIPTION ACTIVITIES AT WORK

My boss uses Office 2013 at work. So do I. I use Office 2013 too, because it is very
versatile.
My coworkers dont like working in the night shift. I dont like either working at night
because it is boring.
The owners of the company want to make the company bigger. I think so too, because it
would make more Jobs to workers.

ADVANTAGES OF DRIVING A NEW LANGUAGE AT WORK

Knowing a new language in my workplace is very nice beacuse I can understand the
messages of the software I work with.
Knowing a new language it is very useful beacuse I can write the instructions of the
products my company exports to other countries.

My name is Manuel Vasquez Lozano, I am 40 years old, I am divorced, I have two
children, my son is 10 years old , his name is Juan Manuel and Maria Fernanda She is 17
years old, I am studying psychology, in the Cead Bucaramanga, I live and work in
Barrancabermeja, Santander, I work as driver, in a company called cosmotrans, my house is

My name is Manuel Vasquez, I am a driver and I working full time for cosmotrons
company.
I usually start work at 6 am. I must pass an alcohol test, make a general review to the
vehicle and expect some instruction to go driving.

PERSONAL PRESENTATION
My name is Cristian Rozo Lpez, I am 32 years old, I am married and I have a son.
His name Juan Esteban and he is 5 years old. I am a professional technician in
telecommunications and actually I am studying electronic engineering. I am a
christian and i like to play the guitar.

DESCRIPTION ACTIVITIES AT WORK

I am professional technician in telecomunications, i work in tolls between Santamarta and
Paraguachn - La Guajira.
I take care preventive and corrective maintenance at computer equipment of each toll. I
start work at 8:00 am and i stand 8 hours everyday in each toll.
My work is very nice because i am always traveling.

I think it's very important to learn a new language and apply this knowledge at work to
provide good service to people coming from abroad and these will go forward to returning.

My name is Atilio Hernndez, I am 37 years old, and Im from Barranquilla but currently I

I Work at SENA whose function is:
To fulfill the State's function, which is to invest in the social and technical development of
Colombian workers, offering and executing integral professional training to incorporate
people in productive activity that contribute to the country's social, economic and
technological growth, also the integral professional training imparted in different training
centers all over the country, offering continuous training services of human resources
linked to the companies, information, orientation and capacitation for the job; support to
business development; technological services to the productive sector and support to
innovation projects, technological development and competitiveness.
And my role as instructor is:
Select strategies of teaching, learning, assessment by program Training (Welding).
Select learning environments based on the proposed results and the characteristics and
requirements of the learners.
To guide the learning process according to the needs identified in the assessment
processes, learning methodologies and existing curricula.
Schedule the activities of teaching, learning, assessment in accordance with the training
modules and institutional calendar and Procedures Manual for the implementation of
actions of vocational training.
