I have served over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps at multiple duty
stations and retired at the rank of E-8 (Master Sergeant). I have completed many
occupational schools as well as leadership schools with continuous training. Listed
below was my last duty station assignment at my highest rank obtained.

Duty Assignment – Camp Lejeune, NC


United States Marine Corps
Postal Operations Chief / Postal Inspector

-Served as the senior enlisted Postal liaison in Western Iraq supporting all Marine
Corps units as well as other services units in need of postal support. This required
the strict knowledge of mail movement support via commercial/ military air to and
from the United States and movement of the mail utilizing land support within
Western Iraq.

-Supervise daily postal incoming and outgoing mail operations.


-Provide supervision to 68 Marines on a daily basis.
-Maintain and control an Official Mail Account with an annual budget of $750,000.
-Provide proper training on USPS/ Pitney Bowes mailing machine equipment as
required.
-Provide postal finance support to approx. 30,000 customers.
-Maintain accurate postal records on all financial transactions with the
accountability of over 1 Million dollars in funds.
-Supervised and maintained the mail routing for all deployed Marine Corps units.
-Acted as the direct liaison between USPS and the Marine Corps.
-Ensure 7 postal finance units operate according to the proper USPS guidelines on a
daily basis.
-As an appointed Postal Inspector I inspected monthly and insured the 63
mailrooms aboard Camp Lejeune were following proper procedures.
-Provided hazmat training to all required personal.
-Ensured that all Marines were providing the proper customer service as required.
-Maintained knowledge of the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network
(WAN), and Deployed Local Area Network (LAN) as the ISC.
