Proven Design Optimized Performance

The SGen-1200A air-cooled two-pole generator series
is part of the Siemens Generator (SGen) product line,
with ratings up to 370 MVA for steam, gas and combinedcycle applications.
SGen-1200A series brings together all the experience
gained from manufacturing generators over the past
100 years.

The design principles of this optimized air-cooled generator

series have been validated both in the manufacturing
process and in continuous generator operation: The innovative design of the SGen-1200A series is based on proven
design features gathered from more than 1,000 Siemens
air-cooled generators operating worldwide thus leading
to optimized performance.
