Sealed tenders are invited on behalf of Director, N.I.T, DGP from bona fide, resourceful and
competent contractors for execution of the work as mentioned below. Interested parties having
technical and financial capacities with experience in execution of similar works valued at 75% of the
estimated amount put to tender, during the last five years in a single contract in any Govt. / Semi
Govt. / Quasi Govt. / Autonomous Body are eligible. Relevant documents consisting of the General
tender document and scope of work including price schedule can be downloaded from our Institute
website (www.nitdgp.ac.in) or may be purchased from our Cash Section from 10.00 am. to 1.00 pm of
any working days. The parties who will download the documents from our website will have to deposit
the cost of tender documents in the form of a separate demand draft along with the tender.

The Institute reserves the right to issue tender paper and reject any or all tender without
assigning any reason thereof. If the last date of sale of Tender Document or Tender Opening
coincides with a Holiday or a Bandh, the same will be deferred to the next working day.

Date of sale of Tender Documents: From 09.03.09 to 30.03.09 (Up to 1-00 pm.)
Last date and time of submission of Tender Documents: Up to 3-00 pm. of 30.03.09
Date and time of Tender opening: At 3-30 pm. on 30.03.09

Qualifying Documents for bidding Tender

1. Tender must be submitted in two parts , in two sealed envelopes , clearly marked as
(A) “Technical bid” (B) “Price Bid”
2. Earnest money as mentioned is to be deposited along with tender in the form of a Bank
Draft/Pay order/ Cash in favour of “National Institute of Technology, Durgapur”, payable at
“SBI, R. E. College Branch, Durgapur - 713209” and to be kept within Part “A” of the
tender.
3. Tender is to be submitted in a larger sealed envelope inside which two sealed smaller
envelopes “A” and “B” be kept.

Envelope “A” should be marked with “Technical Bid” and should contain:

i) Latest valid Sales Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Clearance certificate (if
applicable), I.T. clearance certificate.
ii) Latest Trade licence and labour licence.
iii) Valid licence of Electrical contractor from Govt. of West Bengal.
iv) Requisite Credentials.

v) Latest professional Tax Clearance Certificate, if applicable.

vi) Separate demand draft towards cost of tender paper, if downloaded from Website.
vii) E.M.D. as mentioned.
viii) Any other relevant documents.

Envelope “B” should be marked with “Price Bid” and should contain the document
containing price quote only.
