Prashna Kundali

Prashna Kundali is an important part of astrology. This Kundali is based upon th

e questions asked by the native. The Kundali of the time at which a question is
asked by an individual is prepared. It is known as Prashna Kundali. These kind o
f Kundalis are used by astrologers very often. It should be kept in mind that th
e time of asking questions and the time of giving answers should be same for a P
rashna Kundali. It is better that the person seeking answer goes to an astrologe
r and asks the questions himself. By this, the effects of auspicious and inauspi
cious events on the question at t
Itthashal Yoga
Apart from Rahu and Ketu, Moon has the highest speed and the speed of Saturn is
lowest among the seven planets. Moon is a fast moving planet while Saturn is a s
low moving planet. The first rule for the formation of Itthashal Yoga is that th
e Anshas of the fast moving planet should be less than the Anshas of slow moving
planets. The fast moving planet should lag behind the slow moving planet. The p
lanets should be inside Deeptansha to form an Itthashal relationship. The planet
s forming Itthashal Yoga should have an aspect on each other. Here, we are talki
ng of the Tajik aspects.
The Deeptansha of planets are as follows:
Sun - 15 Anshas, Moon - 12 Anshas, Mars - 8 Anshas, Mercury - 7 Anshas, Jupiter
- 9 Anshas, Venus - 7 Anshas, Saturn - 9 Anshas
For instance, we will take the Deeptansha of Saturn and Mars. Saturn has 9 Deept
anshas and Mars has 8 Deeptanshas. The total of both the Deeptanshas is 17. 17 w
hen divided by 2 gives 8.5. Now, let us imagine that Bhogansh of Saturn is 11 An
shas and 22 kalas, and Bhoghansh of Mars is 9 Anshas and 15 kalas. On taking out
the difference of Bhoganshas of these two planets, we get 2 Anshas and 7 kalas.
This difference depicts that Saturn and Mars are forming Itthashal Yoga.
Explain your readers in the beginning of the chapter that the ascendant of Prash
na Kundali is a flower. Moon is known as its nectar. Navmansh is known as the re
sult and the house represents the sufferings of the results of the question.
There are various methods of studying Prashna Kundali at different places. At so
me places, the Prashna Kundali is made and the questioner is asked to put rice a
nd gold in any one of the boxes. At other places, the questioner is asked to ope
n Ramayana. The page numbers obtained by opening Ramayana are added and the the
number thus obtained becomes the ascendant of the Kundali. At many places, the a
strologers study the sound of the questioner, i.e. the sound of breathing from
nostrils.
In the Krishnamurty system, the questioner is asked to choose a number from 1 to
249. In Vedic astrology, the questioner is asked to choose a number from 1 to 1
08. The number which is told is divided by 9.
