James Demitrus

James Demitrus is the Executive Director and Co-founder of Dyonis Consult Limited. He is a Financial
Economist and a Chartered Accountant by profession. He is responsible for the overall direction of
Dyonis Consult. His vision is to enhance infrastructure finance and development in Ghana and across
Sub Saharan Africa.
James Demitrus consulted for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Ghana, from 2007 to
2014. He was the Head of Project and Financial Analysis Unit whilst at the Ministry Finance and
Economic Planning. Mr. Demitrus provided PPP Advisory Services and worked on upstream investment
project appraisal.
James Demitrus worked as Project, Financial and Economic Analyst with the Volta River Authority,
Ghana, for over 15 years. Mr. Demitrus has over 25 years' experience in the oil & gas; project &
corporate finance; infrastructure and energy industries.

He has impeccable skills and experience in the areas of Structuring and Procuring Public-Private
Partnerships deals; Negotiating Power Purchase and Gas Sales Agreement; Financial Modeling

Appraisal'; Tariff/Price Setting in the Energy Sector; Designing Security Package in Mitigating

Some of Mr. Demitrus' recent assignments includes:
Leading the Government of Ghana Team from the Ministry of Finance to achieve financial / commercial
close for Construction Financing, with IFC and a consortium of other commercial potential lenders for
the Takoradi 2 Thermal Power Plant Expansion and the West African Gas Pipeline Project
Improved on the bankability of the CENPOWER Thermal Power Plant Project to achieve financial and
commercial close.
Developed financial model for CENIT Power Plant and Volta River Authority (VRA) Takoradi T4 Project.
Assisting Ghana Gas Company in project preparation and also acted as Economic Consultant in
developing the pricing methodology for the Atuabo Gas Project.
Lead in the preparation and approval of the National Public and Private Partnership (PPPs) Policy.

Matthew Ayiku is a Director of Dyonis Consult. He is highly astute, energetic, insightful, and team
spirited finance manager with a strong work ethic and proven ability to achieve and exceed all
business-development and revenue-generation goals in high-pressure environments.
Matthew comes to Dyonis consult with a proven expertise in driving efficiency and productivity
through the evaluation of financial management systems, and the implementation of process
improvement strategies. However he is extensively experienced and goal-oriented finance professional
with a demonstrated track record of leading the preparation and analysis of financial reports to
summarize, and forecast financial position.
Matthew Ayiku worked as Regional Finance Officer from 2004-2007 with UNDP- AMSCO West Africa;
African Management Services Company (AMSCO) is an IFC/UNDP funded project aimed at, assisting to
build management capacity and enhancing their international competitiveness.

He was responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports for region, and oversaw the
management of the region's accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and monthly cash,
annual budgets preparation and maintained records of clients' and expatriate managers.
Matthew's achievement at UNDP- AMSCO West Africa; includes consolidated accounts of Anglophone,
and Nigeria regions after merger. Designed, and implemented a financial and accounting system for
efficient and effective business operations in the regional office in Ghana.
Matthew served as a General Manager for West Coast Explosives Ltd from 2000-2002; He foresaw
the winding up of the Company's operation in Ghana and prepared the terminal financial statements,
and handled all activities leading to deregistration of the Company. Represented the interest of Bulk
Mining Explosives in Ghana after winding up of operations until January 2004.
His objective is to raise adequate capital for the smooth rollout of Dyonis Consult and to ensure
optimal correlation between operation and financial performance.
Matthew Ayiku holds Executive MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana.

keeping accurate track of Pay As You Earn (PAYE), raising assessment for taxpayers, assist District
Statistician in reporting and calculating tax position of taxpayers.
Emmanuel's achievement at GRA includes the introduction of spreadsheet application to reconcile
PAYE paid by taxpayers and the grouping of taxpayers according to sectors and their tax position
using the excel spreadsheet.
Emmanuel worked with Generational Achievers, GHANA as a Strategist from 2010-2011. His duties
were planning and monitoring project and programmes of the organization and planning forecast for
the organization; Save the Little Heart Campaign was one of his achievement at Generational
Achievers, Ghana and Ghana Heart Foundation in 2011; where funds were solicited across Ghana to
perform heart surgery for hole in heart Children.
Emmanuel Tawiah Bonney possess over five years thorough knowledge of the energy, infrastructure
finance and the public private partnership industry in Ghana and across the sub Saharan Africa.
