Pollution Kills Our Earth

These days, our earth is not the same like several years ago, many new technology was
invented, people changed, the condition of the earth itself especially in Indonesia. There is no
doubt that we cannot avoid the development of technology, there is a good thing but also it
caused a bad thing. Nowadays, our earth is really different from the previous, it is getting worse
everyday, and we seem dont care with it. For example, the weather is unpredictable, usually in
Indonesia we used to have the rainy season in September January, but now it is random, also
the hot weather, even when in sunny day which is very hot, but sometimes rain comes. The
question is why does this happen? Global Warming, it is a situation when the earth takes a lot of
heat from the sun and cannot hold it because the ozone which protect us from the heat is faded
away because of air pollution. One of the problem is pollution that comes from many of things,
like vehicle, AC, refrigerator, also spray perfume. There are three main reasons why there are
many pollution in our earth.
First, lack of awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. People tend to
do not care with their own environment, they prefer to use their vehicles to go to some place
even though the distance is not too far. The more often they use their vehicles for something that
is not too important, the more pollution produced. Many people who illegally cut down trees,

whereas the tree is able to absorb pollution and reduce the damage to the ozone. People
nowadays are too busy with they own business and do not care with their surrounding.
There is no strict rules for people who broke the law for some case like emission test,
because if the vehicle emissions is not good it will cause a more of air pollution produced by the
vehicle fumes, illegal logging. Our government is too soft to the offenders, they just made the
rule, but do not run it rightly in public. This problem makes many people take advantages from
it, they do not afraid with the police, law government. it is true that our government has been
cracking down on offenders, but there is not clear because they can be bribed with money so that
the offenders can get out easily. Our country needs a law which is very clear and really executed
in public.
Technological advances being abused by humans. In today's era, the technology is
already common thing and will continue to evolve. The main purpose of technology is to
simplify people's lives, help people, but a lot of people who only use the technology as they
please without thinking about the adverse effects produced by these technologies. For example,
the excessive use of cars, this raises the number of reproduced pollution from vehicle fumes.
they do not care about what will happen next, negative impact on our planet, the most important
thing is they can simplify their lives with the help of technology.
Many factors and problem that cause pollution, we as humans have to realize that this
earth needs to be treated and maintained. People just only complain with this situation, but they
still do not do anything to change the situation. If we want our planet healthy again, we should
be able to keep up with the good, and not too selfish. We live on this earth, then it is an
obligation for us to protect and keep beauty of this earth.

We as human beings living on this earth, should have become our duty to maintain and care for
our planet. We should start think of other impacts that would occur if we are too selfish.
