Lebanon Police Department

[n April of 2007, of the Lebanon Police Depanment (LPD), 406 Tennessee

Boulevard, Lebanon , Tennessee, made contact with the Resident Agent in Charge, Nashville,
Tennessee and requested infonnation on the 287g program. The City of Lebanon in Wil son
County is 35 miles east of Nashville, Tennessee, in the middle part of the state. Wilson County
is adjacent to Davidson County, which is currenlly participating in the 287g program.

On June 6, 2007, acting made contact with and

some of his staff to discuss their interest in the program. was initially interested
in the task force officer implementation, however, after a full briefing about the program's
scope, limitations and responsibilities, he declined to move forward with a request for cross
training. requested some speciali zed training in detecting counterfeit
immigration documents and immigration violations from the RAC Nashville and decided close
cooperation in jOint investigations was a more appropriate venue to address criminal violations
in his area of responsibility.

Boulevard, Lebanon, Tennessee. made contact with the Resident Agent in Charge, Nashville,
Tenncs5CC and requeatcd information on the 2878 program. The City of Lebanon in Wilaon
