NOTICE REGARDING TRADE SECRETS AND COPYRIGHTS

The purpose of this Notice (the Notice) is to make you aware of certain of Siemons policies regarding its trade secrets and
copyrights.
Siemon devotes considerable attention to developing and protecting its intellectual property. Siemons intellectual property includes,
but is not limited to, trade secrets and copyrights. During your initial discussions, training, and association with Siemon and Siemon
Certified Installers, you may have access to the Siemon Cabling System Training Manual (the Manual). Siemon is the owner of
all copyrights in the Manual and its associated documentation and has registered its copyright in the United States and various
foreign countries. Neither you, nor any person acting on your behalf, may reproduce the Manual, prepare derivative works based
upon the Manual, distribute copies of the Manual or display the Manual publicly. Siemon regards any attempt to do so as a violation
of civil and criminal law. Additionally, any such acts constitute a breach of your contractual agreements with Siemon, and may
result in their immediate termination.
The laws of the United States and various foreign countries provide for damages in the case of willful copyright infringement that
may include punitive damages of up to USD$150,000.00 per infringement, together with costs and attorneys fees. Siemon may
enforce its rights to the fullest extent permitted under the law.
In addition, during your association with Siemon and its Certified Installers, you may have access to information that is private,
secret or confidential, and that concerns Siemons products, methods, business, business relationships and financial affairs. This
information is not known outside of Siemon and constitutes valuable trade secrets.
As part of Siemons ongoing efforts to maintain its trade secrets, Siemon requires that all persons or entities having access to the
trade secrets agree to maintain them in secrecy. We also require that individuals who have access to Siemons trade secrets only use
them in a manner approved of by Siemon.
The foregoing is not limited to the Manual; rather, it applies to all documents and tangible things to which you have access, either
during training or thereafter, in which Siemon holds the copyright or contain Siemon trade secrets.
The foregoing is in addition to, and not in substitution of, any rights that Siemon may have under any other agreement or at law.
Nothing in this Notice constitutes a waiver or modification of such rights.
